A special shout out and thank you to this amazing group of seniors. The culture of hard work, success, and dreaming big that they’ve created is truly incredibly. Thanks for welcoming me into this family. Forever grateful to have been a small piece of your journey

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: James O’Brien
James favorite event is the steeplechase. His favorite moment at Brockport was taking 5th in the steeplechase at SUNYACs with a time of 9:57, his PR being 9:44. His pump up song is Sick Of It by Skillet. He credits his friends and Teammates at Brockport and Farmingdale as his greatest influences as well as his friend Nicole from home. His friends keep him motivated to be the best runner and person her can be. What keeps him motived is remembering why and where you started. Do things to prove it to the younger version of yourself that you can.
After graduation James is setting out to land a job in Journalism, hopefully being able to write about politics. His advice to Future Golden Eagles is listen to the coaches advice and don’t forget to stretch after EVERY practice! “Good luck to all my Brockport friends next year! I’ll be watching from TFRRS and cheering you on in spirit!”
