Whenever I visit the Parade area in Jammu, which is one of the most famous places for shopping, I always look forward to having Kaladi Kulcha. ❤️

I first met this bhaiya around 4–5 years ago, and that was when I tried the Kaladi Kulcha made by him for the first time. I absolutely loved it—it was SO delicious! 😍

After that, I somehow never came across him again, even whenever I visited Jammu.

But this time, I’ve been in Jammu for the past few days, and guess what? I found him again! 😂❤️ I saw him the day before yesterday, yesterday, and today too—and every time, I ended up having the Kaladi Kulcha made by him. And honestly, it still tastes just as amazing!

Kaladi Kulcha is one of the most famous and loved street foods of Jammu. 😋

Now tell me—where do you get your favourite Kaladi Kulcha in Jammu? And how many of you know this bhaiya? If you recognize him, comment below! ❤️👇

Raja Ajay Singh :- A Dogra Tradition of Resistance to Alexander.

According to later Dogra historical tradition, Raja Ajay Singh of the ancient Bodh Dynasty of Jammu fought alongside his father-in-law, King Porus, against Alexander the Great at the Battle of the Hydaspes in 326 BCE. Tradition holds that Ajay Singh was killed in the battle, while his son, Bijay Singh, later regained the family’s ancestral principality.

The account forms part of the traditional historical memory of Jammu, linking the region’s ancient ruling traditions with the wider resistance to Alexander’s invasion of north-western India.
