There are sneakers you want… and then there are sneakers that become a part of who you are. After 18 years, I can finally say that one of my greatest grails is home. The Air Jordan 7 “Miro.” I still remember being in middle school around 2011–2012, when I was just starting to fall in love with sneakers. I didn’t know much about OGs, PEs, or the history behind the culture yet. I was simply discovering it one shoe at a time. Then I saw these. I remember staring at them thinking, “I’ve never seen anything like this before.” I begged my mom to help me find a pair, not knowing they had released years earlier in 2008 and weren’t even available in the United States. As time went on, they became less of a sneaker and more of a dream. Looking back now, I realize why they spoke to me the way they did. As an artist and painter, I’ve always been drawn to bold colors, abstract expression, and pieces that tell a story without saying a word. The Air Jordan 7 “Miro” is exactly that. Inspired by the vibrant work of artist Joan Miró and created as a tribute to Michael Jordan and the legendary 1992 Dream Team, every panel feels intentional. The explosion of colors, the paint-like graphics, the multicolored laces inspired by the Olympic rings, and the detailed outsole don’t just make this an Air Jordan—they make it feel like a canvas you can wear. It’s one of the few sneakers where Jordan Brand completely embraced creativity over convention, proving that performance footwear could also be genuine art. We’ve seen legendary retros return over the years, the Undefeated 4s, Tokyo 5s, Galaxy Foamposites, and so many others. But if you asked me which Jordan retro means the most to me… It’s this one. Because it reminds me why I fell in love with sneakers in the first place. For someone who spends his life sketching, painting, sculpting, and creating, finally owning the Air Jordan 7 “Miro” feels like owning a piece of wearable art. #airjordan7miro #jordanbrand #miro7s #jordan7 #explore

Every collector has that one pair that never leaves their grail list. For me, it’s always been the Air Jordan 15 “Kubo.” Released in 2016 through a collaboration between Jordan Brand and LAIKA for Kubo and the Two Strings, this wasn’t just another movie-inspired sneaker. Tinker Hatfield reimagined the Air Jordan XV with a zip-up shroud, while the woven upper and premium materials tell the story of the film. The blue pair features a feather-inspired synthetic heel that references the Sisters’ feathered capes, while the red pair uses premium black leather with an embossed crosshatched texture inspired by traditional Japanese samurai armor. What makes this pair even more special is how it was released. Only 1,000 pairs exist worldwide, with many earned through the BEAST BATTLE online game, where only the top 250 players won a pair. The rest were distributed through select giveaways and charity auctions, making this one of the rarest Air Jordan collaborations ever created. I’ve wanted this sneaker for years, not because of the hype, but because of the story, the craftsmanship, and what it represents. Being able to finally add one of my all-time favorite Jordans to the collection is a feeling that’s hard to put into words. Some sneakers are rare. Others become history. This one is both. #AirJordan15 #JordanXV #Kubo #KuboAndTheTwoStrings #explore
