Sound Performance “Sleep / Health” | Heinz Riegler (@heinzriegler ) & Jan Leitner (@jan1eitner ) | 18.08.26 from 7:30 pm | Stadtgalerie Zwergelgarten Originally conceived as a sedative and therapeutic agent, “Sleep Health” was released as a 34-minute LP via Room40 in 2013. Recorded over several nights during an artist residency on Kabi Kabi country, Australia, the work emerged from a period of insomnia and concern for an ailing family member on the other side of the planet. Its intention was utilitarian: at first to induce sleep, to function as an audio sleeping pill with a tangible purpose. During the process, the recordings were also sent abroad, in the hope that they might offer comfort and relief across the distance, a utopian attempt to provide healing. Sleep Health is both a personal aid and a long-distance medicinal instrument exploring dream states, rest, slumber, and the fragile desire to feel better. Heinz Riegler now performs Sleep Health live for the first time in years, in Salzburg, returning the piece to its intended home. Come and join us! 🎟️ Free entry for everyone <3 Credits: Odeon Theater, Nipaluna/Hobart, Australien, presented as part of “Dark Mofo”, ©Heinz Riegler • #summeracademyAT #lecture #soundperformance #event

KIOSK RADIO DJ / select set - 09/6/2026 I’m so very happy and grateful to have been invited to play a guest mix for @kiosk.radio in Brussels A huge thank you to the whole Kiosk Radio team for the invitation, the warm welcome and for creating such a beautiful space for amazing music and listening. It was a real joy to be part of it 💫 For this set, I brought together music that has been inspiring & followed me over the past months - electro-acoustic textures, ambient, field recordings, experimental electronics, a few unreleased sketches of my own & many more. It slowly moves between deep listening, rhythm-pulse and sound exploration. I had so much more music prepared than I could fit into one hour - but I guess that’s a good reason for another set in the future. I’m so greatful to share so fabulous music from these unbelievable great artists & human beings - support them and listen & buy their music :)) thank you! 🙏 Below you’ll find the whole Tracklist. Full live stream on SoundCloud & YouTube (🎥 some snippets from the live set) Full Tracklist: MURMLER - CLOSER TO THE SUN @martinloecker Nihiloxica - Diggi Dagga @nihiloxica Thelonious Hamel - For Karimun (unreleased) Aviva Endean - What Calls In The Quiet @avivaendean Rojin Sharafi - Othered Bodies @rojinsharafi Jonny Nash - Root @melodyastruth Katarina Gryvul - ULAMKY LYUSTERKA @katarinagryvul Perila - Long Dizzying Air Through A Balcony Door @_perila Genevieve Lacey - The World Will Always Need Its Dreamers Floating Points feat. Rauschen (Noise) A performative installation In the performative installation “Rauschen” (Noise), several performers bring rhythmic gymnastics ribbons into continuous oscillation. Driven by the power of electronic music, the ribbons show variations of motion patterns and their respective spheres of action. An interplay between childlike joy and arduous work, between might and helplessness, between self-efficacy and abandonment. The minimal shift in parameters like speed and intensity gives a sense of noise. 💭Concept and space: Cornelia Böhnisch 💭Choreography: Cornelia Böhnisch, Katharina Schrott 💭Performance and choreographic development: Julie Carrere, Marta De Masi, Elena Francalanci, Lies Lambrecht, Olivia Mitterhuemer, Seraphim Schuchter 💭Music: Jan Leitner 💭Music dramaturgy: Yoko Yagihara 💭Dramaturgy: Felicitas Biller 💭Lights and tech: Julian Besch, Robert Schmidjell With compositions by Jan Leitner. 🌟 Pictures by @siegridcain
