A recent recording I’m very proud of 🩷

@jana.stuart and I spent a lot of time working on this beautiful waltz from the Godard Suite for an application I worked on recently, and though I didn’t make it past the first round in the end, I’m still so happy with this performance! It’s such a delightful piece of music and we’re both playing in such a free and fun way. Let us know what you think! :)

The Wildflowers Trio’s debut recital was last night and I had the time of my life! 🥹

Playing with Erin and Jana is a true pleasure and I’m so proud of the performance we gave for our friends and families in the form of a house concert! We played works by Bolling, Villa-Lobos, Ewazen, Einaudi, Godard, and Saint-Saëns in a variety of instrumentations between the three of us.

I’m so happy that nowadays, the joy I feel while performing with people I admire and respect overrides any anxiety or dread at being onstage. I feel so free to focus on musicality, ensemble cohesion, and FUN!!! 🥰

I’m also so grateful for everyone who came out to watch us play (including my dad in the third picture) - it was a hugely meaningful experience for all three of us. 🩷

I have been loving working with my fabulous friends, Erin and Jana, this year! 🥰

We have a few different configurations amongst us - a trio, a flute/clarinet duo between Erin and me, and a flute/piano duo between Jana and me (all we’re missing is for Erin and Jana to team up!!).

We’ve been working on pieces by Saint-Saëns, Ewazen, Bozza, Villa-Lobos, Godard, and more. Our first performance as a trio is this weekend (a private home event) and I’m so excited!!! 🥹
