THANK YOU to everyone who came out for SOAKED - A Night of Comedy to Benefit DigDeep 🙌

We are beyond grateful for the support, laughter and generosity that filled the room. Huge shoutout to our incredible host Matt Rogers (@mattrogerstho) for leading the night with such energy and heart.

Immense gratitude to Chrishell Stause (@chrishell.stause) for sharing her lived experience growing up in Kentucky without running water, where our Appalachia Water Project team recently broke ground. (& also for being such a good sport in a $ raising trivia game! Swipe to the end!)

We couldn’t have done it without the talents and good humor of @ihatejoelkim @gertiebird @patreegs @janaunplgd & @bscan - thank you. 💙 Likewise to our talented DJ who opened the evening, the fabulous @novenacarmel 🎶

Together we raised more than $20,000 to close the water gap and we are honored that so many of you took the time to learn about the reality of life without water access. Everyone deserves access to clean running water. 🚰

I didn’t grow up a theater kid. I was way too cool 😜 My time at @calshakes made me love theater, love a stage that’s been blessed by countless artists performing their hearts out, love the people who work tirelessly to make it happen. In 2021 the amazing Eric Ting (@tingericting) asked me if I wanted to produce a comedy show at Cal Shakes and I jumped at the chance. We produced our first live Good Medicine in just a few short months and boom, sold out the Bruns Amphitheater! I was hooked.

I’d never performed at such a gorgeous venue alongside so many talented comedians in front of such an amazing crowd. Cal Shakes is truly such a special place and I am absolutely heartbroken with the news. This place has helped me grow as a producer, a comic and a person. I can’t put into words with this theater means to me. And the people. They fought valiantly to cultivate a space for art to live and breathe. That fight goes on.

Partnering with Cal Shakes the past four years has been an epic adventure. Thank you for everything. Cal Shakes will live forever in our hearts. Always ❤️

Super excited to go to DC for @illuminative and work next to the queen @janaunplgd for a couple minutes. And yes that is me reading off the page because my adhd was going crazy 🤣🤣
Always amazing seeing @peggyflanagan - she is a seriously funny woman who is a warm ray of sunshine ☀️
And speaking of AMAZING women- I finally got to meet @repdavids!!

Of course I wasn’t out there just to meet some (s)hero’s, I was there to spreading awareness about Nativesvote.com. It’s a great resource to learn more about registering to vote, how to vote, and where to vote!
