Happy birthday to my twin, my best friend, my safe place, and one of the greatest blessings of my life. 🤍
I could spend forever trying to put into words what you mean to me, and I still don’t think I’d ever do you justice. So much of the person I am is because of you and so much of what makes life beautiful is simply getting to live it with you by my side. You’ve shown me what it means to love wholeheartedly, to show up for the people you love, and to find beauty in even the smallest moments. Getting older with you is one of my favorite parts of life. The older I get, the more I realize just how lucky I am to have a mom who is also my very best friend. If I could choose a million times over, I’d choose you every single time.
I hope you know how loved you are, how much you matter, and how much better this world is because you’re in it. You deserve every beautiful thing life has to offer, today and always. I love you more than words will ever be able to explain. Happy birthday, Momma. ❤️🐞

Happy Father’s Day to YOU. The one who’s spent years teaching me, guiding me, fixing things I broke, and letting me learn some lessons the hard way. Thank you for always being someone I can count on and for being one of the safest places in my life. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully put into words how much I appreciate everything you do for me and our family, so I’ll just say thank you. We love you, Dad. ❤️

Happy birthday to the most beautiful, powerful, amazing woman, my mom. You are everything. My light, my rock, and the person who keeps me grounded no matter what. I truly don’t know where I’d be without you.
I’m forever thankful for every laugh, every smile, every hug and kiss you’ve given me. You are the most special person in this world, and I love you more than I’ll ever be able to say.
Thank you for being you. Thank you for being my favorite person and the most incredible mom anyone could ever ask for. Happy birthday beautiful ❤️🐞🎉

I have had a vette in the garage since 2010. It started with the C5 and every generation thereafter, but for the last couple of years, one has been missing. 1st world problems, but a problem nevertheless that needed to be fixed. If you've known me long enough, you know that this was a legitimate issue. Six months ago, I turned to @rileyhw08 and said, "It's time". The kid just shook his head like I was a toddler 😵‍💫.

The stock wheels are not good looking, so I waited until I changed them to post some pics.

I have to say the C8 is the best car GM has put together. The hard top convertible option was on my car wishlist. Moving the engine to the rear and going with a dual clutch transmission was inevitable and solved the issue of the engine overpowering the chassis. Previous generations required you to brake deep into the apex then roll on the throttle and let the back end steer the car out of the turn....from what I've been told 😎.

The C8 is much more like the Gallardo. You set your speed going in the corner and start aggressive throttle BEFORE the apex. The power is linear and the chassis keeps the car planted so it feels more go-cart-like. GM, well done and why I have to hide the keys from my wife. She drives everything like a go-cart no matter how it was designed 😔

As much as I really like the C8, I still miss my C7 Z06. There is nothing like a manual transmission, 650 crank horsepower and torque monster that would light up rear tires in 4th gear at 75 MPH.....from what I heard 😎.

December has been a month of rest and reflection. Giving myself permission to pause is out of my comfort zone. Finding that balance. 😌

I did make it out to RPR last weekend for the last @centex.shootingsports match of 2024. 🗓️ Loved my squad and had a really fun day!!

My pistol also got a full take down and spa day in the ultrasonic thanks to @alaskanintexas! 🛁
