What happens when you put 8 people, 2 dogs, a brilliant tutor and a technician in a carborundum workshop with home made cake and chocolate a plenty?? You have a fantastic weekend with everybody ( not the dogs) trying new ways of printing with carborundum, stencils and chine colle.
This was a special workshop open only to members and invited artists.
Big thanks go to Sheena @republicoftoadland for her enthusiasm for getting us to try different things even though it took us out of our comfort zone - it was great fun and everybody learnt something new 👯‍♂️

Wrapping up a great #mokulito workshop at the weekend @firestationprintstudio in Melbourne. This was truly an inspiring bunch of participants who took things above and beyond what I thought we could achieve in a weekend. Thank you for inviting me and to the firestation crew for all their support throughout the weekend and some of these great pics too @fdavey_art @linda.gwen100 @printfingers @janbrown756 @sorcharae @heidiartz @kayw_artist

We had a real treat at the weekend when Sheena @republicoftoadland came to us with her masterclass carborundum course for some of our members. What a great time we had, all trying different approaches to the art of carborundum prints with much excitement when anything came off the presses. Her ideas and methods kept us inspired for the whole of the weekend, there was a definite buzz about the place! Thanks Sheena🙏🏼
