That was a MASSIVE week on every level - Creative team, Dancers and Ballet staff but let’s not forget the monumental efforts of all those behind the scenes too! - stage management, stage staff, crew, lighting, sound, projection, wigs/makeup, costume makers, dye shop, shoe dept , music dept, orchestra, wardrobe technicians (especially those in the Spray Booth) and stage cleaners for hovering the special carpeted areas (side stage) and for mopping the chalk ladened lino.

For The Animals.

Recorded a podcast about all things Vegan with my Ma a while back and when I get round to editing out the fuckery, I might share it. She inspired me to become a vegetarian and I challenged her to go Vegan. This is THE most annoying 1 min 41 seconds of our very lengthy chat and Joaquin Phoenix would hurt us BUT we are so so so passionate about this way of life and I made some really tricky clay animal babies to prove it. Big up and keep going! to my pals who turned vegan in the last year x

Every time I saw this photo up in the Shoe Room at the @royaloperahouse it brought back so much joy and many wonderful memories of being on stage with my friends! It was taken just before curtain up on the last act of Manon, on tour somewhere, possibly in Washington DC . Every moment spent on stage, before, during or after a performance, was a precious opportunity to be surrounded by people who are passionate and devoted to our art form, doing what we LOVE. I hope dancers all around the world can go back to experiencing the wonderful thing that is a career as a ballet dancer 🙏🏻
