I’m not going to lie, life has thrown a few curve balls lately. But grateful to the people who have checked in, sent cards, sent flowers, called, allowed me to be quiet or took part in fun times to remind us that life goes on.

Turns out the quickest way to hatch a plan is to add sunshine, polo and a few Cotswilds girls. Questionable decision making occurred, minutes unavailable, said plan remains classified.

Excellent day at Cirencester Polo, doing our bit to keep the county’s rosé reserves under control.

I used to dread Sundays. Not in a dramatic way, just a quiet one.

I had my boyfriend and our dog. But beyond them, Sundays felt very quiet. I missed seeing my friends, girl time, and the ease of popping out for a walk or a roast with friends.

So I started the Cotswilds!

Today 30 of us met for an hour’s walk, followed by one of the best roasts in the Cotswolds at @thechequerschurchill and we were tucked away in their beautiful private room.

Moments like this are exactly why this community exists.

So if you saw a big group of women walking around the Cotswolds today and wondered what was going on, this was it.

It turns out a lot of women were missing the same thing

Newly minted Executive MBA! 👩🏻‍🎓 🎓
My closest friends and family know what a challenging rollercoaster this has all been. And I am truly so proud of myself. The past 15 months that has tested me on so many levels and taught me so much. Too much to put into words (other than the fact that Finance is outrageous) but all I know is that I feel even more bulletproof than I did before.
In the words of Marva Collins (introduced to me by a dear EMBA sister), “I celebrate me, so that nothing will ever prevent me from celebrating others”
