This past weekend I had the honor of choreographing a Vogue fem piece for the @aileyextension spring performance showcase for a third year in a row. What a lovely experience it was creating with these dancers. Such a dedicated, respectful, talented group (that dealt with my crazy lol) and showed so much love and care to the craft & community. We turned up harrrrrd the last show day.

Your girl brought the children a Vogue fem rendition of Macbeth - shout outs to my sister @_beatbyyamillet for helping me brainstorm this concept. Thank you to my sister @dj.belindzz for the amazing mix blending monologues of the film with authentic Vogue tracks. And my brother @thekwesiasante for helping me with the dancers throughout the rehearsals.

Overjoyed, super grateful, very inspired. Until next time. 💋

Where do I even start...

These past two months have been so special to me. From the second we started rehearsing together, it felt like we already had a bond. The love and support in this space made it feel like so much more than just a performance — it felt like family.

Thank you @_theodyssey for creating such an amazing piece and bringing all of us together. I feel beyond honored to have become your student a year ago, and now to dance in a piece choreographed by you at Ailey Extension Theater feels unreal. This is truly one of the biggest highlights of my 2026, and honestly one of the biggest highlights of my life.

Coming to NYC from overseas and finding you all is something I’ll always be grateful for. I’ll miss all the moments of playing, laughing, and voguing together before rehearsals and before the show. I really feel like I found my chosen family here in the US, and I already miss it.

And thank you to everyone who came to support us and gave us those loud screams — it meant so much and made the night even more special.

Thank you for making me feel like I could truly be myself around you all. No pretending, no trying to be cool, just love and freedom. Forever grateful.
