One of my favorite things to do after a trip is go through all my photos and videos and make a little reel so I can relive it all again… and then watch it over and over because it brings me so much joy. 🥹🫶🏻

🦋 This is a story I now get to hand down to my children and their children, because a collab with the incomparable @dollyparton will always be a treasure. I cannot express my gratitude enough for the opportunity to have a tiny little connection to one of my biggest influences and one of the brightest lights in music and beyond. Thank you to God first of all…I mean, what a sweet gift. And my sister @janellearthur, who is so much like Dolly….talent for days, TN girl, the real deal! I am beyond grateful for that special day on the farm outside of Nashville when we got to meet for the first time and write this beautiful tune. I’m thankful for your courage to get it in front of Dolly…that in itself was special. BUT THEN, for her to love it enough to take time to record it as a duet….I mean 😭….I believe every word when she starts singing on that second verse! It is a stunning rendition and I couldn’t be prouder to be a writer of “Hand Me Downs.” I love you, Dolly! And I can’t wait to sing in the angel band one day with you in heaven 💖

Who doesn’t love @dollyparton?! One of my most treasured achievements is having her record my song Hand Me Downs!! She and my dear friend and cowriter @janellearthur did an amazing job with it. ❤️ Every time I play it live I think of Dolly and smile because it is still just the coolest thing ever and I don’t think I’ll ever get over it!
