I'm delighted to share that after months of anticipation, you can now play Tethered To You on Steam... FOR FREE! 🎮

I want to give a huge thank you to the team at @stellanoctisgames for asking me to voice, 'The Goddess Of Passion' 🔥 She remains a statue through most of the chapters, however when she emerges, she is a force to be reckoned with (Swipe to the end for the reveal!) 🤩 Her artwork is absolutely beautiful and if you love narrative style indie games as much as I do, then you are in for a treat with this one ☺️

Congratulations to the rest of my cast mates too @dangilesvo @jonasttg @janellemccurdyy @mgrahamvoices and Nick!🎙️🎉

ONE WEEK TO GO until 'What Gaming Taught Me About Worldbuilding' with @janellemccurdyy.

In this interactive webinar, join award-winning YA fantasy novelist Janelle McCurdy. Janelle will be sharing with us her top tips for creating a practical world building template, to help you make sure the world your characters move through is believable, consistent, and comes alive on the page. Regardless of the genre you are writing in, come along and learn how to build a world for your story that is fit for purpose and where all of the logic lines up perfectly. An avid gamer, Janelle will also be sharing with us how different games influenced her debut, and how the intersections of gaming and writing impact her process for the better.

Free for members (just head to Circle and RSVP in Member Events), or a very limited number of non member tickets are available via the What's On page on our website.

We can't wait!

Have you checked out the 4th instalment of the Amari Peters series? I’ll share my review of Amari and the Metalwork Menace soon but in the meantime, if you loved these books then you’ll love this. It’s a series very dear to my heart and this one felt so fresh, almost like a reboot of the series. A first class fantasy series! @bb_alston @farshorebooks

We were so delighted today to welcome the team from @headsupleicester to the bookshop to collect some new books for their book nook.

It's thanks to kind donations from customers to our Pay It Forward scheme that we're able to gift books throughout the year to individuals and community groups. Heads Up do sterling work supporting families across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland, and we're so pleased to be able to gift these books for them to use with their service users.

We had such a lovely time chatting with Lindsay and Hannah about the work of the organisation, including just how much seemingly small gestures can go a really long way in providing families with the support they need.

If you'd like to find out more about our Pay It Forward scheme and make the gesture of a small donation, head to the website for more details or just pop by the shop to have a chat with us!

We're absolutely thrilled to announce our next season of events here at TLC. Each month we host interactive workshops for writers on topics suggested by our members. Members can then access them via our community platform, Circle, as well as accessing watch-back recordings of all past events in our Recordings library.

Alongside our workshops, we also host regular co-writing spaces, a monthly Writers' Cafe where writers can meet up online and chat, and lots more.

At #BeingAWriter we're committed to building happier, healthier habits - looking after the writer self as whole person, and prioritising our wellbeing. We'd love for you to join us.

Thank you so much to @jen.hawke1 and @rebeccagediking and the team for inviting me to the launch of the second year of the brilliant @gll_literaryfoundation yesterday at @battersea_library .

It was incredible to be in such a beautiful space filled with tea, cakes, authors, librarians and an array of book enthusiasts, all there working together to share ideas on how to encourage and nurture a generation of young readers.

Thank you to @rebeccagediking , @ken_wilson_max , @nadinewildpalm , @wakefordwrites , @janellemccurdyy and @booktrust Emma Zipfel for your inspiring talks.

It was also a treat to catch up with author buddies @shireenlaljiwrites , @ihussainwriter and @poppytperrybooks - sorry to miss you @lui.land and @trulyjwrites , but I had to dash before the end!

Congratulations to all the Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 cohorts of this fantastic organisation and I look forward to seeing what amazing things are to come from you all over the next year.
