“HOLY CRAP A POST FROM JASON?!?!”
I won’t lie…I’ve been a little emotional 🥹
This past weekend we closed “Stranger Things: Face The Dark” over at @netflixhouse after working on it for almost A WHOLE YEAR! To say this experience changed my life would be an understatement. Getting to work on such a special show this group of people has made me not only a better performer, but a better person overall. Every single person from the cast and crew made this show what it was. A beautiful, chaotic, scary, funny, spooky mess. A mess that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Thank you to everyone who saw this show. Thank you to the cast, crew, and tech team that put this show together. And thank you to Netflix for letting me be a part of this journey. Here’s to the future 🥂
And you know I’m telling the truth, because friends don’t lie ❤️

So this is my final goodbye to Henry Creel. ❤️

I don’t think I’ll ever be able to fully explain what this character, this experience, and all of you have meant to me. I came into this as a Stranger Things fan who always dreamed of somehow being part of this world, and somehow I got that chance.

We started with Escape the Dark and watched it grow into Face the Dark. We were there from the beginning to the end. We learned, struggled, laughed, made mistakes, pushed each other, and became better together. Somewhere along the way, coworkers became genuine friends, and I truly hope those friendships last a lifetime.

To every actor, actress, coach, and friend who taught me, corrected me, challenged me, encouraged me, and helped me grow, thank you. You didn’t just make me a better performer; you helped me become more confident in myself. I have so much respect and appreciation for every one of you, and I’ll carry those lessons with me wherever I go.

And to everyone in Dallas and everyone who came through those doors from around the world and let me scare you, thank you. Every scream, reaction, laugh, and memory you gave us made this experience unforgettable. It was an honor to be a part of your Stranger Things experience.

When I think about the kid who watched Stranger Things and dreamed about being part of it someday, I still can’t believe it actually happened. I went from watching the story to becoming a small part of the world I had always loved. I got to become Henry Creel, perform alongside incredible people, make lifelong friends, and create memories I’ll never forget.

So goodbye, Henry Creel. Thank you for the character, the journey, the lessons, the memories, and every scream along the way. And to my Stranger Things family, thank you for making a dream I once thought was impossible become real.

This may be the end of this chapter, but I hope it’s never the end of us.

And for the last time…. It’s Time to Play 3…2…1 📺

Me oh my… Goodbye Hawkins 💜

Yesterday we said goodbye to Stranger Things: Face the Dark here at Netflix House. To say my heart is broken would be an understatement. I loved this attraction with my entire being, and I will always be grateful to get to say I was apart of something so friggin cool. Penelope, my girl, I miss you and your curls already. And I’m sorry your life was so tragic. I loved you despite your questionable decision making skills. To all my buddies who put so much passion into this show, I love you so so much and I am SO proud of you❤️‍🩹 Stranger Things has always been special to me, but now a piece of my heart is tied to this show forever.

As sad as saying goodbye is, I absolutely cannot wait for what we’re cooking up next!!! 👀💛🎶😁

Goodbye, Stranger Things: Face The Dark. I am so not okay with this. I have never cried so hard in one weekend. But that is just to show the faithfulness of the Lord in my life, and the immense gratitude I have that God would give me the opportunity to play Penelope Carmichael—the girl you were looking for 🔦 @mnkybl8 thank you for giving me this opportunity. I feel so unworthy that an average girl with a dream would be allowed to play such a prominent role. I feel so honored. To @netflixhouse and the rest of my cast & crew I deeply love y’all. Thank you for being a huge part of this year of my life. This show will be my favorite part of my early 20s. Praise Jesus 🫶🏻

This past weekend, I had the absolute joy of seeing my newest play, Queer Camp, have a staged reading with OutCry Theatre with an absolutely tremendous cast breathing life into these characters.

I learned a lot, and I’m excited for much more to come with this crazy little script. Already looking forward to the next time we can all go back to Queer Camp… maybe next time you can join us.

I feel so blessed and honored to not only be doing the thing I love more than anything else in the whole wide world, but also to have found such amazing people through it all!! Truly trying to take in every single little moment I have here at Netflix House. What a dream. I can’t believe it.

These past few months of training have been so precious getting to build relationships with this amazing team of actors & crew members! Graduating from college, I never expected I’d be here a few months later! All glory be to God for he has allowed us to grow together and perform together in a once in a lifetime experience!
