Broadway Singer/Actress. Final cast of “The Phantom of the Opera" Majestic Theatre understudy for Mme. Giry and Carlotta (over 500 performances).

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Ok, it’s been almost 2 weeks since @phantomopera closed on Broadway, and it’s given me more than enough time to reflect. The first drop here is just a brief slow motion glance at the night before closing and events leading up to Phantom’s big finish. “Surreal” doesn’t even begin to cover it! More than anything, it clarifies that it is the brilliant people I have gotten to work with over the years that I will miss most of all. Hundreds of creative amazing artists and relationships that I will cherish for life. And, a rare chance to meet one of my idols Judy Kaye the original Bway Carlotta!! So exciting!! Thank you to everyone from Music Box reunion to Majestic cast and crew for all the amazing memories… more posts to come!! @therebeccapitcher @fredfromcolorado @tumbleshaun @janet_saia @tregoney @davidwlai #friendshipsyoukeep #broadwaydreamscametrue #phantomoftheopera #livingthedream #iamtheluckiest #pinchmemoments #goingtomissthesefolks

Here's to us! 🥂

My favorite photo booth pictures from the closing night party! I usually hate getting my picture taken but this was really fun and hilarious!

My Phantom drawing, in honor of the show having its final performance yesterday after an amazing 35 year run on Broadway. ♥️ Congratulations to the whole cast and crew, some of the most talented people I’ve ever seen. Tagging some of the cast I had the pleasure of seeing perform over the years. Each and every one is a total superstar! ✨ And thank you to Andrew Lloyd Webber, for giving the world this amazing musical that we will never forget! 🌹🖤
This is my drawing called “Let the Dream Begin” created in pastel pencils + pastel sticks. ✏️

One last pic from Phantom on Broadway. This one taken by Anne Runolfsson herself. With Janet Saia in the background there. Happy Trails Phantom

I shall never forget the night of our last @phantomopera public performance on Broadway and the audience refused to leave. Kristen Blodgette our conductor got the ovation of a lifetime. The entire applause lasted almost 30 min. Phantom Phans are the best on earth

Ladies of the opera - ensemble. (Ballerinas don’t count they will get another) Still, if I miss out someone which 99% happens, I didn’t get a photo unfortunately.
It's always fun for me to count how many Christines and Carlottas are on stage every time comes to Hannibal or DonJuan rehearsal. Bway ensemble requirement: You can/have played Christine/Carlotta…The bar is there.

Kanisha Feliciano (current Christine u/s on Bway)
Elizabeth Welch (longest running Christine u/s on Bway, also Christine on National Tour and Germany)
Trista Moldovan (Christine & Carlotta on National Tour & Bway)
Marni Raab (Christine on Bway, National & World Tour)
Kelly Jeanne Grant (Christine on National Tour; Mme Giry u/s on Bway)
Janinah Burnett (Carlotta u/s on Bway)
Satomi Hofmann (Carlotta & Mme Giry u/s on National Tour & Bway)
Janet Saia (Carlotta & Mme Giry u/s on Bway)

Fierce divas, each of us.
It's been an absolute joy understudying La Carlotta for the last year. To be counted amongst these ladies is a true honor.

There’s no way I could tell you the number or hours or days I’ve spent rehearsing @phantomopera #broadway over the past 16 1/2 years. The #majestic has become my second home (Sometimes 1st), and these people up #onstage and in the house are my second #family. Yesterday was our last time. 😔 And that’s all I can muster up to say about that. NOT PICTURED: the rest of our amazing #company , #crew , the brilliant #MusicDepartment and our incredible #StageManagers, who can now do most of these roles in their sleep! #phantombroadway #rehearsal #potophoto #understudies #swings #phantomoftheopera #nyc @nikonusa #photogregphy #swingshot
