Over 30 years ago, college gave me this group of girls (+Heather—we missed you!). Careers, marriages, kids, moves, and milestones later… here we are.

It’s been five years since we were all together in the same place, but somehow we picked up today like no time had passed at all.

That’s the gift of lifelong friendship. I’m so thankful these women have remained constant through it all.

Grateful for today. Grateful for decades of friendship. 💛

The Next Chapter - we moved Corbin into @western_carolina and he’s stating the next season of his life. Corbin, as you get ready to write this next chapter realize the pen is in your hard. Pray bold prayers and dream big dreams. There will be highlights and hard moments, but God is with you and He wants to bless you more than you could ever imagine. I’m so proud of you, you’re ready and I love you.

Watching my kids fall in love with Jesus @elevationchurch has been the greatest joy. As a parent, I can question if I’m doing it right and I can worry if the moments when they see me stumble keep them from trusting Christ. Because my kids don’t just hear me preach the sermon, they’ve watched me live it out. But God is gracious and despite my frailty, He’s been faithful. He shows up again and again, revealing His grace in their lives. He uses it all for His glory. My kids love Jesus and they love His Church and I’m a dad blessed beyond what I deserve.

And just like that we have a high school graduate. Corbin is the smartest, kindest, coolest young man. He’s worked so hard and he’s ready for the next season. Love you and so proud of you son.

Baptism - yesterday I had the privilege of baptizing my youngest 2 daughters. Lenya and Karsyn both made decisions for Christ this past summer and wanted to be baptized together.

As a parent, there’s no great joy than seeing your children fall in love with Jesus!!
