🍯WHAT IS SUGARING? Hair removal is something we do all year but it’s summer right now and all we want to do is expose our skin (while socially distancing) but getting smooth, glowy, hair free skin for more than 2 days is hard..if you shave.

🖤Sugaring is an ALL NATURAL, vegan, eco-friendly, bio degradable, water soluble, hypoallergenic, non toxic, safe for sensitive skin..and that’s not even all its benefits for your skin!

💚Throw away your razors because you can sugar almost every part of your body!

💛It is not just for women, if you have hair then I bet there’s parts you wish you didn’t have it in. Sugaring and traditional waxing places are closed right now and if before Covid you were shy to go or they were just too expensive to try than I can’t wait for you to learn more and try @sweetsugarglow collection of products for your body. Very soon you’ll be able to sugar yourself from the comfort and privacy of your home!

🤍Feel free to share this! Send it to your hairy friends and family that need to stop shaving!

This year’s planning may have been cut short, but our amazing team did not go unnoticed. We want to thank our team for all the work they put in each week! We can’t wait to see all their efforts come to life at next year’s conference!

"The best thing I got out of my time at UCLA was the people and connections that I
made here. I met some of my bestest friends at this school, from the people I worked
with, to the study groups and networks that I was able to create. UCLA helped me grow
as a person, value myself more, be independent, be a leader, and do things I never
thought I would do. Despite the challenges and adversities along the way, it was one of
the best experiences of my life. I hope that I was able to leave a positive impact on this
campus in my short 2 years here as it left on me.
As a transfer student, one of the biggest challenges that I faced here was the lack of time
to take advantage of everything that this school has to offer. Two years is not enough,
and while three years may have been perfect, as a transfer student you have probably
been in school for so long that you just want to finish and graduate. As for the post-
graduate life, it’s pretty great! I loved my school so much that I never left; I stayed on
the hill as a Residential Life staff!
My advice to current transfers is to take advantage of opportunities and events on
campus! Time flies and there are so many things to do at UCLA. If you are considering
grad-school, make sure to go to office hours and build relationships with your
professors. I personally wish I had done that.
Being the first to graduate from college in my family, I am proud to say that I am an
educated, first-gen, transfer, undocubruin Latina!" - Janeth Velazquez

The most beautiful thing about Transfer Raza Day is being able to share your accomplishments with your mami. Janeth went to last years TRD and is now the co-chair of this years event.
