Before Flybrow was Flybrow… I was just a girl who showed up at your office to do your eyebrows. No brand name. No products. No plan beyond showing up and doing really good brows for really great people ✨ One of my early mentors @JaneWurwand, taught me that the more niche and specific your brand is, the more you risk not being for everyone - but it IS how you become something to someone. Flybrow’s mobile model was born out of necessity. I was a single mom building a business, and my work had to fit into the hours my son was at school. So I asked myself: Where are women congregating between 9 and 5? At work. That little idea took me inside Twitter, Snapchat, Google, Salesforce, LinkedIn, Viacom, Condé Nast and eventually led to pop-ups and partnerships at Keihl’s and Dermalogica where Flybrow could bring something to their customers that didn’t already exist. For a long time, part of me thought the “real” version of success meant beautiful Flybrow studios everywhere. My ego liked that idea. My ‘why’ didn’t. My ‘why’ was to take what I do and spread it as far and wide as possible. So the thing that once made Flybrow look different became part of our identity. And now here we are. 10 years later. A real company with a real name, products we built from scratch, pop ups across LA, San Francisco, Dallas, NY and more 🎀 The dreams I have for this business are bigger than anything I could have imagined… and some days it feels like we’re just getting started!

☝🏻🩶🫶🏻 @janewurwand 🤍 MD Kosmetolog & Fodpleje Harlev 🤍#mdkosmetologogfodpleje #hudpleje #kosmetolog #dermalogica hudplejeiharlev hudplejerutine sundhud resultatorienterethudpleje hudbehandling skincareprofessional

✨ A legacy of skin excellence, continued. ✨ (A throw back to when I met @janewurwand at the Dermalogica conference in L.A. 11/9/2012!!) A very special moment with Jane Wurwand, the visionary founder of Dermalogica — a brand that has been at the heart of my professional skincare journey and one I remain incredibly proud to work with. My relationship with Dermalogica is built on trust, expertise and an unwavering commitment to skin health. It is a brand whose values of education, innovation and professional results align so closely with my own approach to skincare. I believe that true excellence in skin therapy comes from never standing still. I continually invest in advanced education and professional training, ensuring that my knowledge remains at the forefront of the ever-evolving world of skincare, ingredients, technology and treatment techniques. This dedication enables me to offer my clients an elevated, truly personalised experience — combining expert hands-on treatments with carefully prescribed professional home care, selected specifically to complement and enhance their results. Because exceptional skincare is not simply about a treatment or a product. It is about knowledge, consistency, precision and trust. Every client deserves the highest level of care, expertise and attention to detail — and that is the standard I am committed to delivering, every day. Beautiful skin is never accidental. It is expertly cared for. 🤍 #dermalogicaskinexpert #skintherapist #advancedfacials #edinburgh #edinburghfacials

Your philanthropy says what you care about. But your capital says what you are willing to build. At The Giving List Women Summit 2026, Janine Firpo led Elizabeth Faraut, Jane Wurwand, and Sheila Lirio Marcelo in a conversation that challenged the room to ask a bigger question: what is the rest of our money doing? These women are not waiting for systems to become more equitable. They are building companies, funding women, backing overlooked founders, moving debt and equity differently, and proving that capital can be both a return strategy and a change strategy. That is the significance of a women-and-girls lens. It asks not only where we donate, but where we bank, invest, lend, build, and take risk. Because when women have access to capital, they do not just enter the economy. They reshape it. Investing in women is investing in humanity. #DoingItDifferently Watch the full panel on our YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/@TheGivingListWomen
