Thank you @janewyork and @zurichna for the amazing job shadow opportunity for our 10th and 11th graders! Students had the chance to tour, learn what exactly insurance is, and the different roles in the field. They got to listen to several people working in the field, had lunch, saw some amazing views, and finished the day with an activity where they acted like they worked at an insurance company. We couldn't be more proud of our students who asked inquisitive questions that impressed the Zurich staff.

Thank you to the amazing staff at Zurich especially Terry-Dawn for being a wonderful guide for our students throughout the entire day. Chavonne and Jae also inspired them to apply for their apprenticeship program!

4 DAYS until Miss New York USA! 🇺🇸🗽 If you followed my journey last year you’ll remember that I advocated to make financial education classes a requirement in New York Public Schools well…

I’m INCREDIBLY excited to say that as of March 2026, the Board of Regents decided that financial education classes are now mandatory in New York Public Schools for grades 5-12. 👏🏼That victory shows that every voice matters… every educator, advocate, and student who believed this knowledge should be accessible to everyone.

But policy is only the beginning.

As a financial advisor volunteer at Junior Achievement of New York, and Vice President of Sales & Partnerships at a financial technology company that expands financial access to more than 4.6 million financially underserved Americans, I’ve seen firsthand that financial education shouldn’t end at graduation.

If given the honor of serving as Miss New York USA, I want to bring free financial education workshops to women facing financial barriers - because financial education isn’t just about budgets, credit scores, or investing. It’s about freedom.

It’s the freedom to walk away from situations where you no longer feel valued because you have the confidence to stand on your own. It’s the first-generation college student who realizes homeownership can be part of her future. It’s the young professional who confidently negotiates her salary because she understands her value. It’s replacing financial fear with financial confidence.

I believe the greatest investment I can make as Miss New York USA is in women and helping them build financial freedom to live a life beyond their wildest dreams.

Regardless of the outcome, this mission is one I'll continue to champion because every dream is worth investing in. ✨

Mastercard's Global Volunteer Month is keeping Mastercard volunteers busy and making a meaningful impact in our communities! 🌍

With support from Volunteer New York!, Mastercard employees have been hard at work this past month. They...

Created “Feelings Kits” for one of Volunteer New York!’s nonprofit partners to help support literacy, emotional wellness, and meaningful conversations 🎨
Participated in a friendly, competitive pack, packing 1,800 Balanced Bites snack bags to be distributed across Westchester County with @feedingwestchester 🥫
Made assorted pastries, breakfast soup, and frittatas to bring nourishment and care to clients at @ronaldmcdonaldhousewestchester 🥧
55 students participated in a career readiness workshop working on their resumes, cover letters and interview prep with Mastercard volunteers ✏️

From supporting mental health initiatives to providing career-readiness workshops and helping to fight food insecurity, Mastercard employees continue to show what it means to give back with purpose.

A&CO is proud to share that we’re now working with Junior Achievement USA, which empowers young people through programs that foster work-readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills. There are 102 Junior Achievement Areas operating across the United States. Through an innovative partnership between the business community, educators and volunteers, this incredible organization impacts more than 4.4 million U.S. students annually.

We are especially honored to be part of the fundraising team for the Junior Achievement Dream Accelerator, which our client Delta Air Lines is already an existing partner of. Dream Accelerator is an interactive and responsive career exploration experience designed to inspire high school students to uncover their passions and talents on the path to a meaningful future. Through classroom learning and the two-hour Dream Accelerator experience, students gain valuable personal insight combined with real-world situations that help them envision where their chosen paths can take them while inspiring an entrepreneurial mindset. To launch the Junior Achievement Dream Accelerator, Junior Achievement is embarking on an $8.5M fundraising campaign to serve up to 45,000 students annually.

Our AOF juniors put their skills to the test in the stock market challenge—analyzing, strategizing, and competing at a whole new level. After weeks of hard work in the classroom, they took their talents to Iona University for the regional competition. One of our amazing teams won 3rd place in this competition! 💼

📈💼 The @hofstrau SIC turned into Wall Street for a day!

On March 17, more than 100 Long Island students took on the Junior Achievement Stock Market Challenge at Hofstra, managing $500,000 simulated portfolios in real time.

From breaking market news to rapid-fire trading decisions, students from Baldwin, Freeport, and Brentwood schools put their financial skills to the test and got a taste of the real world of investing.

St. Raymond High School for Boys celebrates Its 3rd Year at JA Finance Park

St. Raymond High School for Boys proudly marked its third year participating in Junior Achievement’s Finance Park program, a signature financial‑literacy experience that prepares our young men for real‑world success.

During this year’s program, our students stepped into the shoes of working adults— managing a monthly budget, making decisions about housing, transportation, insurance, banking/investing and everyday expenses.

The day blended classroom learning with an immersive, hands‑on simulation that challenged students to think critically, plan responsibly, and practice the financial decision‑making skills they’ll need in college, careers, and life.

We’re proud of our Ravens for their focus, leadership, and enthusiasm throughout the experience. JA Finance Park has become a powerful annual tradition at St. Raymond, reinforcing our mission to develop confident, capable, and future‑ready young men.

One student summarized his experience by saying” I found the budgeting exercise fun. I learned that budgeting is something very serious and I don’t know how my parents do this.”
