I am so so so incredibly grateful to have received female Newcomer of the Year!!! I wanted to write everything I forgot to say in my 10 second speech here 😂
First of all, thank you to everyone who put me on that stage and believed that I deserved this award. I am so incredibly honored 💜
Second, I want to elaborate on the best coach in the nation. BT, thank you so much for believing in me and putting so much effort into making me the thrower I am today. I really mean it when I say I literally would not be here without you. You single-handedly added 4 feet and counting onto my shot put PR!! That is absolutely insane and incredibly impressive.
And lastly, my team, who make this purely individual sport feel like a team sport. You guys make it so fun every single day and push me to be my best. Thank you guys for believing in me 💜
