🚨 Manchester events professionals — we need to talk.

70% of event professionals are women, yet most managerial positions are held by men. This isn’t a coincidence.

🗓️ April 27th | 5:30pm – 9pm | Manchester Poetry Library | Ticket link in bio!!

“GRIT – Power to Women* in the Events Industry” is a dynamic masterclass designed for women and people of marginalised genders who want to be the change in the events industry.
Come chat with us about perseverance, community, grit — how to hold your ground in professional spaces and fight patriarchal practices.

OUR GUEST SPEAKERS:
♥️Jasmine Rutter (she/her) @theagencylab.co.uk
♥️Sabah Imani Joy (they/them) @sabstg
♥️Jandira Kula (she/her) @janmargarett_

What to expect:
• Inspiring speakers sharing their journeys, challenges, and wins
• Practical insights on the importance of building community and networking
• Tools to own the room – calling out misogyny and correcting interruptions in a professional manner
• A live Q&A panel
• Interactive group exercises
• Networking opportunities with like-minded creatives and professionals

This is your sign to come along, meet your people, and claim control over your career.

🌱 All proceeds will be donated to @bemoredandelioncic , a survivor network supporting and empowering women who have experienced domestic abuse.

Happy International Women’s Day! ✨💕✌🏽

A day to celebrate & cheer on all the amazing women in our life, but also to advocate for more equity for all women! In a world where we have come so far, but in some uncertain times we need to keep going as we can’t & won’t go back! 💕💪🏽
