2026.10.16 Canadian Latte Art Championship 2027 ☕️🇨🇦 This was my first time competing in a latte art competition. I’d always been curious about competing, but I never felt confident enough to give it a try. Then, just after I decided that I wanted to enter the next competition, the announcement came out. The timeline was pretty short, though. And even though it’s called the 2027 championship, it was actually held in 2026 😂 Even after I signed up, I still wasn’t confident, and I was really nervous. I had no idea what I should prepare or how I should practice. But once I started practicing, I gradually gained confidence, and I really fell in love with my designs. On competition day, my hands were shaking so much because I was nervous, but I still enjoyed the experience. I had prepared a whole script for my presentation because each of my designs was connected to my own background, and I wanted to share those stories with everyone. And I actually managed to say everything I wanted to. The result wasn’t what I had hoped for. I really wanted to make it to the final round, but unfortunately, I didn’t. But! I won the Art Bar section through public voting. So I guess my latte art was popular with the public, right? Hehe 🥰🏆🏆🏆 This experience has helped me grow so much as a barista and given me more confidence to keep challenging myself. I’m so grateful to my lovely coworkers @thebrick.room for all your support and encouragement. And a special thank you to Jann @jannlander . He gave me everything I needed to prepare — his knowledge, skills, tools, and even ingredients for practice. I couldn’t have achieved this without you, Jann! Thank you so much. I truly appreciate everything you’ve done for me.
