JOURNEY 2026

Last year I decided to sign up for the Journey Internship program. This became one of the most influential decisions of my life. Led by UCSA/VCSV the program is designed to develop you spiritually and practically so that you leave with loads of experience and memories!

I have only done 6 months of the 10 month program but already we have completed so much! I joined the gap year along with two girls (Mumbi and Lynn) and we have become a close knit team. We have also worked alongside so many amazing people, including our awesome team coordinator Janelle!

This year has had so many unforgettable moments, and it has also trained me in so much! We have facilitated on many camps, helped with a the campsite maintenance and done many adventures, outreaches and courses. Some of the courses included in the year are:
•Wilderness First Responder
•Facilitation Training
•PETRA
•Entrepreneurship
•Mental Resilience
•Mountain Guiding

During my 6 months on this internship I have learned so much and grown a lot! It has also helped me in figuring out my future plans. I cannot recommend this gap year enough, if you are looking for a year of adventure and new skills this is for you!

Unfailing Love.
Steadfast Love.

What a wild thought to think in days we fail people or people fail us, His love remains ever the same.

He would still go to the cross for you over and over again.
He still loves you. Not a little less today and a little more tomorrow. But steadfast, never failing and unchanging.

I hope through the difficult and the good seasons, that you will never get over how much He loves you 🫶🏻

Still thinking about what God did at 40 Days for Jesus. The worship team carried the room with excellence, but it was His presence that made the night unforgettable. Don’t let what you experienced fade—let it shape your week, your decisions, and your walk.

Special thanks to @delportcaptures for these photos.
