Rethinking God with tacos (or in our case with apple pie 😂) and 2 pastors with a mic in the Netherlands! It was great to see some of my Dutch friends before I move there very very soon!

12 countries in 12 months… wow.
I took 3 months off socials after coming home to really process it all. Coming back has honestly been a rollercoaster of emotions, high and lows. Looking back at these moments (and finally share them) has been such a big part of that processing.

One of the most epic parts of the trip was visiting our Dutch friends in July 2025. Wow… do the Dutchies know how to host and have a good time. We were reunited with friends and filled our days with glorious camping, endless exploring, of course some volleyball and fully embracing van life. 🚐

What I love most about the Dutch community is how real and authentic they are. Nothing is off limits and everything said I meant. They taught me how to be more honest with people and most importantly myself.

And @judiefeenstra you are right, Amsterdam might be one of the best major cities! Take me back to riding Dutch on a bike while Jared pedals us both while we hope and pray your phone doesn’t die… 🤣

Jan, Judy, Hannie, and Fabrice, we can’t thank you enough for giving us a trip of a lifetime in the Netherlands. We’d travel the world with you in a heartbeat 🤍

@janrekelhof where to next? Asia? And then will jump off the pier!

Cannes pt 1 - One of the greatest moments in my career was visiting the @festivaldecannes 78, earlier this year, for the first time with @razz_reviews. ‘Karayr’ was part of the curated films in the short film festival market. Though it felt surreal, I knew that this is where I belong. The amount of things that I learned about this industry that I’m a part of, will be things I carry with me forever on this path. My experience was also elevated by the great people that I was with, ones I reunited with and new ones I met during my stay there. Truly a magical experience. one I am definitely keen on repeating. And perhaps someday soon with a feature film in the running. #festivaldecannes #cannesfilmfestival #cannes #france🇫🇷 #film #filmmaker
