Last week we wrapped up our Intermediate and Advanced Summer Intensive! The dancers were immersed in a week long 9-5 dance journey with some incredibly gifted guest artists. Partnering with guests who share their knowledge and expertise with our dancers has always been one of the biggest highlights of our season. Thank you @sknottbro , @caitlynbethke , @janthejanimal and @thewellnessbarnstudio and @groovewithtyla for nurturing our dancers 💜💙 2026/2027 Season, here we come!!

Hundreds of hours…. With no one knowing …. I created this sculpture. It has been the most challenging and rewarding piece I have ever done . Thank you to everyone that says a kind word or expresses interest in my work. It is motivating and keeps me moving. Thank you to @brett5497 and @jeriesnijim for the help. Huge Thank you to @jeffpoehls who came through and helped me when I needed it. Jeff is an amazing artist and friend . Again …. Thank you all

Dead Dance, you have been such a strong hold for me over the years, so I thank you for the family you have given me!

To my people, you all know who you are! Thank you for such an amazing last year!

To my second family, Izzie, Emmie, Gina, and Paul, thank you for the opportunity to be apart of your family!

To my studio, I am beyond proud that I had the chance to dance here and can’t wait for the future dancers to benefit just as I did!

Dancing won’t end here for me but there will be a hole for where I always found as my home!

This studio has helped me grow not only as a teacher, but as a person. I’ve made so many meaningful connections with students, teachers, and parents, and I am incredibly grateful for every one of them. While joining a new studio was a learning experience, it challenged me in the best way and made me a better teacher. Looking back, I wouldn’t change a thing.

Thank you, Miss DeeDee, Miss Janelle, Miss Brigit, Miss Cadence, Miss Beth, Miss Jaclyn, Miss Mandy, and Miss Cami, for welcoming me with open arms and never making me feel like an outsider. From the moment I walked through the studio doors, I felt supported, encouraged, and truly part of the DDH family. Your kindness and friendship meant more to me than you’ll ever know.

And to my assistants Miss Lily, Miss Allison, Miss Anya, and Miss Ruby thank you for all of your hard work, dedication, support, and willingness to help throughout the season. I truly could not have done it without you.

DDH will always hold a special place in my heart💕💕 (I will certainly be back to watch recitals to cheer on all the wonderful teachers, and my wonderful students)
