This might have been one of the greatest weekends of my life and a big part of that is my incredible friends who I got to share it with!!

Senior Year: ✅ PART 1

Every year at UNC Charlotte has been great, but somehow this has been the best year of my life. This family that has been built over the last 4 years is one of the biggest blessings I could have never expected. They have made laugh, they have made me cry, they have made me mad (mostly at board games) and I could never imagine a life without them!

When I first got to UNC Charlotte, I was alone. Not sure what to do, missing being back home in Puerto Rico and finding it impossible to make friends. But then, the film club came into my life and changed it forever. This club, has made me a completely different man than when I arrived. Both the good and the bad has allowed me to evolve in a way that people who knew me before can’t recognize me as the same person.

That is all thanks to the people in these images (and those I missed) and all the members of the film club over the years. Thank you all!

2025 was without a doubt the busiest year of my life. i directed the most ambitious project of my career thus far, HYENA, released CAFFEINE HIGH on YouTube, finished MEMENTO MORI and premiered it at a festival, produced three short films each in different parts of the country, spent the fall working as a channel intern for Patrick (H) Willems, all while separately making progress towards finishing my MFA because the school i attend doesn’t want me to direct movies. respectfully, i’m going to do it anyways.
i’m endlessly grateful for my friends and family for always supporting me and always reminding me that i’m not alone in this. filmmaking is a team sport, and i’m lucky to have the best team anyone could have. 🖤🖤🖤

2025, for all its faults, highlights and absolute nonsense that has come out from world has been an interesting and absolute roller coaster of a year for me. Got back to film school in full throttle (made a short film AHHHH). Experienced amazing movies ranging from Sinners, to Superman and then many others. But most importantly, it was a year for the first time in a long time … I actually felt happy. Ironic considering the state of the world hub lol? But for real though, mentally I have never been in a more better place than I was throughout this entire. Especially when I was in school, surrounded by people who are all chasing that same dream to do something incredible creatively. Though I had many hiccups and falters, it never put me down because of the people I surround myself. Both in my life, and in this community with this account.
Everyone tagged in the last page has impacted me in someway positively, or have inspired me to be better. Whether that be creatively or as a person. And I am so fortunate, so unbelievably grateful for this that I can’t ever find the words to put it together.
2025 … it may have been chaos incarnate … but we got through. We’re still here, and we’ll still be here for as long as the earth spins. To create, to love, to fight, and to live. As Fred Durst once said … “Keep on rolling baby!”

Thank you all for an amazing 2025, can’t wait to see what 2026 has in store (which btw you can see glimpses of in this post hehe).
