Hi. Here’s Rooms @gobuildrooms. And our film, which is a little window into the universe of Rooms.

gobuildrooms.com

First, Rooms is a workspace for developing projects. People bring what they’re imagining, and Rooms builds a living workspace around it, develops an understanding of their work, and opens up the coolest ways to investigate, create, and bring their ideas into the world.

Our ambitions for Rooms are pretty big, but the belief is simple. In a world where almost anything can be made, I think the more interesting question is: what matters? Why? And how do we center the people imagining wonderful things? What capacities can we give them?

Much of building Rooms has meant thinking about everything that exists between an idea and its realization. Like literally everything haha. Allll the questions, decisions, possibilities (and flops !!) that shape what something can become.

This is the foundation of Rooms. We’ve spent so long with people who are dreaming up the most extraordinary things that I believe Rooms has a shot at becoming the understanding layer beneath the things people make.

Go sign up. Requests for early access are now open. We’ll bring everyone in gradually :)

This film for Rooms was sooo fun to make. From the fields of Baden-Württemberg to my favorite warehouse in Los Angeles. And everywhere in between.

@Japjotbar is extraordinary on this. And @createdbyraj!! @burakumdu bouani @melisamlk @demseypyr3x @@rejan.archive <3 .

And @harjuice on the 🎥 in LA. @deejayhsb the soundtrack on this is something else. I think he’s gonna be a 🐐-level producer.

To every single person who spent god-knows-how-long thinking through, using, breaking, and building Rooms with us, <3 you all.
