Greetings to all friends, family, and fitness connoisseurs! Welcome to Starlight Movement! I am Taahirah, also known as Coach Tee, and I am currently a trainer at 24 Hour Fitness. My fitness journey started 4 years ago as I was finishing up my bachelors degree in Kinesiology. I learned the importance of fitness and movement for everyone wanting to live a quality life. A “quality life” meaning to minimize the effects of the natural stages of aging. I realized in my senior year of college that I didn’t want to grow older with bad knees or stiff joints because working out is hard. In school, I learned to simplify the idea of working out. Working out or moving your body does not have to be done strictly in a gym lifting weights. I was introduced to the idea of the 7 primal movements which are the fundamental movements to living a quality life. While learning about the primal movements, I realized that people exercise regularly by just living life. An example of this is sitting in a chair or using the toilet, we have to get into a squat formation. Another example is having to bend down to tie your shoe, you typically get into a lunge formation. This realization changed the way I looked at fitness and I wanted to share this discovery with others who view fitness as difficult or hard. Being a trainer at 24 Hour Fitness has allowed me to teach others what I have learned and has taught me how to properly guide people through their fitness journey. Come along on this ride with me and my clients!

Stronger by the day. While working out it may feel like a nightmare but the results are literally the definition of a “sweet dream” #instafitness #fitnessjourney

Surround yourself with people who lift you up, cheer you on, and push you to be your best self. A strong support system makes the journey to a healthier lifestyle so much easier and way more rewarding. Grateful for those who believe in me even on the tough days! #HealthJourney #SupportSystem #StrongerTogether #WellnessGoals
