One of my favorite worship memories ever! Wait to the end for the amazing, worshipful, horn moment. 🙌 🎺

Psalm 150:3 “Praise Him with trumpet sound!”

This was at the Highland Baptist Church Centennial Celebration in 2023. Gary Rhodes was worship pastor for 25 years at Highland, and all of my years as a college student at the church.

The Lord brought this moment, this song, and these lyrics to mind tonight. Here are just a few clips.

The full service can be found on YouTube by searching Highland Centennial Livestream.

Highland gathers at 8:40, 10, and 4pm tomorrow. We would absolutely love to see you!

We just started a summer series called All Sufficient. Tomorrow, we are in Romans 3.

We are baptizing three Believers and celebrating God’s grace in their new life!

Grace is what we deserve the least, but absolutely need the most!

It has been a great week at @highlandwacokids VBS! Today we shared the gospel with hundreds of kids and many made new decisions for Christ. 🙌
Our last day is tomorrow (Thursday).

So thankful for this amazing kids team who has worked hard in planning VBS all year long! @emilyneagle_ has led a great group of staff and volunteer teams. So much work for these 4 days!

And grateful for the church wide unity to support this week’s important mission. Every ministry of Highland is helping this week! From the admin team, to facilities, to missions, to discipleship staff, to worship and media teams. And of course - to Pastor John/Jared dance battle.

What a joy! @highlandwaco
