After not having the greatest night. The last stage I was comfortable 😂😂 and just went out there and just did it

1 step forward, 200 steps back 😂 Went in pissed, left pissed, everything I learned went out the window on the first stage... and I’ll be back next week because that’s what this sport is. It’s worse than golf. Golfers think they know frustration? Try USPSA.

Stage plan: flawless. Execution: reloaded early, pulled up to the steel needing 4 hit and had to do math on the clock 😂 The beep deletes your IQ, I swear.

What’s the dumbest way a stage plan has died on you? 👇

I’m addicted and it’s getting worse 😅

Two weeks ago at a practice match I ran the most fluid stage of my life. Didn’t think about my stage plan, didn’t think about my game plan — I just ran it. Full flow state. Probably my best run ever.

Now I’m just chasing that feeling. Every range trip, every match. It’s bad.

If you’re thinking about getting into competitive shooting and you’ve got any kind of addictive personality... it’s a wrap. Consider yourself warned.

Shooters — what’s the one run you’re still chasing? 👇

My belt fell off in the middle of my first USPSA stage 😅

Not the mag. Not the holster. The whole belt.

The RO ended up holding it while I finished the stage. Spare mag in the pocket, stayed calm, got it done — slow, but done.

Lesson learned: ALWAYS run a belt keeper.

One thing I love about watching footage back is seeing the small details that failed me in my stage plan that I will learn from! Small move can add valuable time but it’s all a process!

106th out of 147. Not last. Take that 😂

First official USPSA match is in the books and I’m hooked. Lessons learned the hard way:

1️⃣ Bring a belt keeper. Mine fell off mid-stage.
2️⃣ Keep a spare mag in your pocket. It saved my whole stage.
3️⃣ Your brain WILL shut off. The plan goes out the window at the beep.
4️⃣ You’re not that good — and that’s fine. 25th in Carry Optics, surrounded by shooters way better than me, and I had the best time.

Met people I’ve known online for years but never met in real life. This community is different.

Next one: October 24th with @gulfcoastpracticalshooters. Breast cancer awareness match. I’m coming back better.

This was the first stage of the day getting some of the first match jitters out the way. Though these numbers are nothing to brag about today was one of my most consistent strong of stages yet. Now I have my base to work from. Was I booty cheeks sure but I was less booty cheeks than normal and that’s a win 😂😂😂

Shout out to everyone! Nothing but encouraging words were thrown at me definitely set the tone for the day!

A point from my last post. MOVEMENT need to be lighter on my feet not take such hard steps dot get gets bouncy because of that. I did take note from the stage before and tried not to sink into the window.
