San Antonio has no shortage of barbecue, but @2msmokehouse is operating on an entirely different level. Their execution marries traditional Texas smoke with brilliant flavor innovations.

Here is the breakdown of an unforgettable meal:

🐖 Pulled Pork with Salsa Verde: The pork itself is beautifully rendered, exceptionally juicy, and boasts a rich, smoky bark. But the real stroke of genius is the pairing with salsa verde. The bright, tangy acidity of the tomatillos perfectly cuts through the fatty richness of the pork, creating a vibrant flavor contrast that leaves you craving the next bite.

🥩 Weekend Wagyu Tri-Tip: A Saturday/Sunday exclusive that is worth planning your entire weekend around. The Wagyu marbling delivers a buttery texture that practically melts on the tongue, while the precise smoke ring packs a deep, savory punch. It is intensely beefy, perfectly seasoned, and incredibly tender.

🧀 The Sides: The Chicharoni Macaroni is a masterclass in texture, offering a rich, velvety cheese sauce contrasted against the shatteringly crisp crunch of crushed chicharrones. Meanwhile, the Green Spaghetti is a comforting, savory delight, tossed in a creamy, herbaceous poblano sauce that brings a subtle, warm depth without overpowering the plate.

🍰 The Cheesecakes: We finished with a duo of cheesecakes that boasted a flawless, dense-yet-silky texture. The Banana Cheesecake captures a nostalgic, true-banana sweetness without tasting artificial, while the S’mores Cheesecake is pure decadence—layering rich chocolate, graham cracker crust, and a beautifully toasted marshmallow note.

This isn’t just barbecue; it’s a culinary destination. 🏆

San Antonio knows BBQ 🔥

Had to pull up to @2msmokehouse & show some love. These guys just took home the win on Pitmasters, & after eating here, I see exactly why!

Congrats to the whole 2M crew. Well deserved. 💪🏽🔥

Out and back to San Antonio! Double double, animal style to start, brisket and ribs from 2M Smokehouse to close. Oh, and saw a cool little show from My Chemical Romance along the way.

San Antonio with my wifey and she’s been hearing me talk about 2M Smokehouse for awhile so we stopped by and got a spread. Line was deep at 11am on Thursday, good to see them so busy! I think they have the best Mac & Cheese on the planet, Pork Ribs were excellent, and that Pork Belly was definitely next level. We enjoyed everything, so good, and left happy. Until next time my friends @esaul_ramos @2msmokehouse

Took my dad out for lunch for his birthday, but secretly I used it as an excuse to go get some of the best BBQ not only in San Antonio, but in all of Texas. 2M Smokehouse is something special, and I hope to build my business into something like theirs one day.
