March was GOOOD. I haven’t had this much fun in a while; so grateful for all my buds and to be able to enjoy this beautiful place I call home in such splendor.✨

one year ago i released "i will be clouds in the morning and rain in the evening". i couldn't have imagined the love and support i'd receive for the album over the course of this last year. so after several attempts of getting this off the ground, i'm super excited to finally announce that with the help of my friend @listenlow97 i will be pressing i will be clouds to vinyl! pre-orders for the first pressing are open now through march 31st, with orders expected to begin shipping out in mid may. the first pressing will all be a pink/teal splatter!!

i have also uploaded 6 bonus tracks for i will be clouds which you will receive for digital download if you pre order the vinyl! 2 of them are recordings from @aqueerritual_mn fest 2025, recorded by @datafagdatafag of @cellophanerecording and featuring performances by @deep_rift_dweller, @ruingazer, and @nickfromthosebands ❤️ the other 4 tracks include ambient re-imaginings of the singles from the album, and the track "chromatic dispersion" i did for @electronicaudioexperiments!

thank you all for believing in me and this project. it truly means everything to see an album i put so much of myself into have such a big impact. see yall on the road again soon 🌸

Jan was so good to me and as a result, I didn’t get as many fun photos. Mad grateful to have such wonderful people in my life. I’m approaching day 1000 of my sobriety in a few days and have been fortunate to have had so much success and support from everyone. The world is falling apart but it sucks a lot less lately. Love love love 🫶🏽

instagram deleted my heartfelt post i spent like 30 minutes writing so im taking that as a sign from the universe to shut the fuck up a little. you know i released music and played shows this year, if you dont check my bandcamp and feed.

what is important though is i recognize all the people who made this insane and packed 2nd year of ameokama possible. shoutout @djgoldiegolds for being a day 1, tracking drums while u had covid, and dealing with my click tracks. thank you @ambient.gf for being a wonderful friend, being a demon in my music video, listening to billions of my mixes, and killing it coming out of show retirement. @argutierrez92 and @_vomitcoffin_ for making my silly guitar parts sound beautiful. @avery.xiii and @museumface for being the only other people I trusted to play music on this album. @katharineaudreylane for releasing this thing and being the goat at filming. @danielaronspeer for teaching me how cameras and lights work and making me a horror movie star. @ruingazer, @deep_rift_dweller, and @itsalexpalermo for being insane enough to jump in a van with way too much gear in it, play 16 shows across the country, and make this feel like a real band. @nickfromthosebands for letting me eat fries out of your backpack. my beautiful girlfriend @number1angel___ for supporting me while i crash out every 5 minutes. anyone whose contributed design/photos to this band but especially @bardicroots, @lust.hag, @bigbabyintoyland, @nataliesnotinit and @permanentdaylite. anyone who listened to me yap and posted it online but especially @eemmoore, @nonnarcissistic, @morganyevans and @womenofnoise. @your.crippling.alcoholism and @glacierband for letting me add a little evil girl noise to your music this year. any band i rocked with and of course anyone who told me my music meant something to them because thats what all makes it worth it.

new all chicago band lineup and shows in 2026. new penis, girl, and music in 2026.

This year has gone by faster than most. I realized the closer we got to the end of 2025, the less time I took to document things. I’ve been fortunate to have nourished so many friendships, advance my career, continue to ride in ways I wasn’t able to before and enjoy life. There’s no way to capture all of it in just 20 photos so, I won’t try. Here’s a bit of December; I hope the new year is kind to us all.
