As a young kid, I never thought this day would come. The day that I have to say goodbye to such great teammates and especially this program, and summer baseball. I can remember walking into my first practice at the old All American Baseball Center and walking by these huge kids and thinking that I would never be that big or get that old. I blinked and just like that, it is all over. It’s surreal. I have to start off with thanking my dad for being my rock, my right hand throughout this will entire process. He has taught me the greatest thing in life, something more valuable than any school lesson or teacher could ever teach me and that is how to compete. When it comes down to it, you have to compete for everything in life. Next, I would like to thank Coach Ninemire for providing me the opportunity to play for such an amazing program for 10 years. This is an opportunity that most young or old baseball players will never get and for that, I am thankful. This is truly the best baseball program in western PA. No other program even comes close to this one. I don’t know where I’d be on and off the field without this program. Lastly, I want to say thank you all of my past teammates for the great memories but one in particular @gelpi_1 We have been playing together for 10 years, over 500 games and we were on the same side for every single one of them. I can’t even begin to think of the number of baseballs we have hit together, the miles we have traveled together, or the innings we have played together. You are not only one of the best players I have ever met, but one of the best people I have ever met. If I got the opportunity to do it all over again with these guys, I would do it in a heartbeat. Nothing will ever be able to compare this and this will be something I will truly miss each and every single day.🇺🇸❤️
