Appreciation post 1/2. Thank you Rush Film Festival (Jay Lupish) for inviting me to volunteer for 4 days. I can't express how liberating that weekend was, the amazingly talented people I met, the wonderful hospitality from the lovely Chelsea, and just all around fantastic vibes. A Farewell to Youth was top tier and I'll never forget the experience I gained working at the festival. Thank you all again for everything 🥹💕💕 sorry about the delayed post, I'm not on social media much these days.

incredibly grateful that absent was an official selection and nominee of this year’s RUSH youth film festival!!

thank you so much to @rushfilmfest and @jarico.films for hosting such a wonderful film festival for young independent filmmakers to celebrate each others work!!

i’m very proud to have represented absent alongside some of the absent team!! the film was nominated for best drama and thain was nominated for best supporting actor for his role as steven!! despite not taking home any wins, i’m just incredibly grateful to have been nominated and acknowledged for the hard work that was put into the film! it’s one i’m super proud of and one that i hope everyone loves

it was so nice to have met everyone that i had the chance to meet and talk with during the festival and congratulations to all the filmmakers who were selected or were winners of the evenings awards!!
