POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I believe it was somewhere around early 2022 when I put the word out I’m looking for a band. Some came and went, some tried and didn’t stick - but Jmoney was part of the crew that was there from day 1.

The most laid back, yet hardest working dude I’ve met. You think you can hustle? Try hustling alongside this guy. Try and keep up.

Apart from the wonderful things he’s done for our band, creating a new space for sound with all of his behind the scenes magic he does for us apart from playing the drums and getting the crowd to move, he’s also the kindest soul you’d come across. Always friendly, always keen to chat, always introduces himself first and makes one feel at home with a “Yo, Jarid - plays the drums, what’s your name?” And the rest is history. To have found someone like him and have him part of our team, it was all magic.

Unfortunately there has been a turn of events, and those who know Jarid, knows of his life and his current updates and affairs, it’s not my business to disclose. We stand with him, through any and everything, but it is with a heavy heart that we have to announce that the band and Jarid have parted ways. If things could be different, I’d have it that way. Jmoney is brought something to the table, a spirit and soul that can never be replaced. I am forever grateful for what we’ve been able to share within these last 2 and a half years.

A talent, a light, a soul worth a thousand, no matter what happens in the boardroom, Jmoney you’ll always be the kindest dude I’ve ever met, and a true friend to rely on when things get strange. Please go support Jmoney with his hustle, drummer to the stars, sound engineer, hell..you name it.

Jmoney, I’m looking forward to those 3 solo albums brother. We’re always here

Much love

@jaridplaysdrums, one of the coolest people I’ve ever met, one of the toughest situations we’ve faced as a band.

Jarid! “J-money” thanks for all the epic shows you played with us, you are one of the most awesome fun loving dudes I’ve ever met, your enthusiasm is contagious and having you on tour taking it all in and appreciating every moment of life has been inspirational to everyone. You presence both on stage and off will be dearly missed by all of us. I wish you all the best in future my friend.

It was honestly an unbelievable birthday experience 🥹
I thought it would be crazy to arrange most of my bands be in the same space at the same time - as 1st prize.
But 2nd would be if we could all get to perform some songs 🙌

Got chatting with @georgevanderspuy at @luvbuzzstudios and shortly thereafter I found myself and @neekykeen19 sorting the lineup order ⚡
