President Russell M. Nelson said, “Your decision to serve a mission will not only bless you, it will bless your future spouse and your children and your grandchildren for generations to come.”

This is a living, breathing promise, and we are watching it unfold in the lives of our dear beloved missionaries.

This picture caught many of them who gathered with us to reconnect and revel in the blessing of serving in the Zimbabwe Harare Mission.

We adore these noble spirits (both young and old) and will never tire of these divinely designed connections. Though our arms never feel completely full without so many of our African elders and sisters. We love you and we miss you!

Onward, ever onward!

This Valentine’s Day was a first for us—and we hope it won’t be the last!

We invited our returned missionaries who are married, engaged, or seriously dating to join us for an evening of dinner, games, and a meaningful conversation about Healthy Sexuality in Marriage, led by our dear friends Chelom and David Leavitt. Chelom’s classes on this topic at BYU are well known and widely loved.

Our missionaries were able to submit anonymous questions, which opened the door to a thoughtful, open, and beautiful discussion about the importance of emotional, spiritual, and physical intimacy. As we talked, we were reminded that someday these young people will be teaching their own children. Together, we learned healthy ways to communicate, deepen connection, and grow as individuals and as families.

We love this sentence from The Family Proclamation: “Happiness in family life is most likely to be achieved when founded upon the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. Successful marriages and families are established and maintained on principles of faith, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, respect, love, compassion, work, and wholesome recreational activities.”

We love all of our missionaries and felt the absence of those who are far from us. We have deep hope and confidence in them, and we pray every day that each of them will find someone to cherish, love, and serve. Marriage is a holy work!

7 Days Out💯

Here’s a compilation of the last two months. Managed to get into Ironman shape (more or less), share another birthday with my dad, lose 10 lbs, increase my testosterone by a lot (naturally), get my resting HR down to 35bpm, dress up for Halloween, and not get injured.

If I can do it, anyone can🤌🏽;)

Decided to make a post instead of studying for my midterm. 🤪 Little photo dump of some random things from the summer and semester.

Got my wisdom teeth removed, have been baking different treats, joined a flag football team and took a golf class. I have some pretty cool friends and a pretty sweet boyfriend that do all kinds of fun things with me.
