The end of an era.

We’re sad to announce that our dear friend and bass player, Kyler, has accepted a big-boy job in Chicago and will no longer be playing bass for The Gravehounds.

If you’ve ever met Kyler, you already know how kind, genuine, and friendly he is.

We first met him online, not long after he’d moved to Dallas from Las Vegas. From day one, we clicked — he shared our love for the same music, brought the exact energy we were looking for, and instantly felt like one of us. Kyler never flaked, never complained, and always bought into our craziest ideas. When he moved here, he didn’t know anyone, but he made himself a home — and helped make one for us too.

Kyler is a killer bass player and an even better friend. We’re heartbroken to see him go, but we couldn’t be prouder of him and can’t wait to see what he does next.

Kyler will always be a Gravehound — and he’ll always have a home here in Texas.

As for us, The Gravehounds aren’t going anywhere. We’ll be taking a few months off from playing shows to finish our album and prepare for the next chapter.
