IT TAKES ORDINARY PEOPLE.

Behind every extraordinary moment are ordinary people showing up in extraordinary ways.

The miles may have been mine to run, but the journey was never mine alone.

Early mornings, long days, missed workouts, sacrifices, encouragement, and countless people who played a part in getting me to the start line in Berlin.

This film is about more than a marathon. It’s about the people, the community, and everything that happens long before the starting gun goes off.

Ordinary people. Extraordinary impact. The Major ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

sent the squad to atlanta and they proceeded to act accordingly 😮‍💨

@therace_uc…atlanta… the sole. yeah… they did that 🙂‍↕️

kinda got us thinking though 🤔 maybe it’s time for a sole travel team 👀

different cities. big races. a whole lotta black shirts on somebody else’s start line 🏁

speaking of…. chicago 2027 👀

we’re just checking the temperature right now… but if you’ve been wanting to run a world major… say less.

we might’ve just become your plug 🔌

Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy. Psalm 126:5 🤎

This weekend felt like the reaping. 🥹

Last year, I never saw this version of me coming. The runner. The competitor. The woman learning to believe in herself. The woman surrounded by a community that continues to remind her that she belongs.

And I’m so happy she’s here. 🥹⭐️

Thank you @thesole.clt & @thesolecircuit for the constant love, encouragement and push to keep becoming a better version of myself. And @bell.naim thank you for seeing something in me and believing I had what it takes to represent The Sole as part of this team…even before I fully saw it in myself. That means more to me than you know. 🖤

And thank you The Race for creating a space where I get to see people who look like me showing up, getting active, chasing goals, breaking barriers and celebrating each other while doing it. There’s something powerful about being surrounded by that. 🤎

A weekend full of community, laughter, love, a BIG PR, and another reminder that all those miles, tears and hard days were never for nothing.

I had an AMAZING time. @therace_uc , I’ll see you next year. ✌🏽
