Our fifth collective book “Z5NE” is here! I personally oversaw the printing and was only able to bring a limited number of copies with me. To keep things fair, I haven’t started shipping the pre-orders yet, as there are quite a lot of them. I’ll begin sending them out in batches at the end of July, once I’m back from Arles.

I’ll also be bringing a small number of copies to Arles. If you haven’t pre-ordered the book, you’ll be able to purchase a copy there directly. To keep the shipping process consistent for everyone, all pre-orders will be dispatched in batches at the end of July.

Hi, this is Christine Serchia @chreees I’m a Creative Director; Curator of @serchiagallery a residential art gallery and photo studio which I run from my home in Bristol, and Publisher of @valentineeditions,a UK-based publishing imprint creating annual collaborative publications based on a singular theme.

To celebrate our participation in the 2026 edition of Bristol’s favourite book fair, BOP [Books On Photography] this October, I’ll be taking over the BOP Instagram account from 7-11 June.

Follow via @bop_bristol for a first look at the rare, handmade, and special edition publications you will find from us at BOP this autumn.

For day two of our takeover, I would like to share a selection of images from Valentine Editions new publication, NAPE (The back of one’s neck).

NAPE is a collaborative photographic case study and our fifth VALENTINE.

Each year we create an annual publication revealing how humans can each see and perceive the same subject differently; uniquely.⁠ We collate work in response to an open call and theme.

This year’s theme NAPE was inspired by and curated in collaboration with our first ever guest curator, Rica Cerbarano @ricacerbarano.
