The invisible string theory, except it’s between me and this couple…

I took a solo trip to Lake Como this past July. Naturally I took many film photos. A few weeks later I get a dm from Jasmine. She was looking for a photographer to capture her wedding and she looked so familiar! Then it clicked. She was the girl laying out next to me that whole day while I was in Lake Como, except it was just hours before she would get engaged.

She had no clue that the photographer she was about to hire had already taken a photo of her on such a special day. And because life works in the craziest ways, I had the opportunity to capture several more special moments during their city hall wedding and celebration.

When you’re traveling, especially solo, you become more aware of the people around you. I specifically remember laying near Jasmine and Carson, seeing them together and thinking, “wow they are so in love.”

From Italy to NYC, a couple of months later, I got to witness their love through my lens, officially as husband and wife this time! Call it fate, call it chance, call it serendipity!!! but I love love and love my job even more….. I eventually developed that roll of film, and the last photo is a shot with Jasmine in the background🙂🎞️
