CABARITA | DUPLEXES ~ NOIR SHORES

ONE PLAN, TWO PALETTES!

Two kitchens sharing the same footprint, each interpreted through an entirely different material direction.

The layout and functionality remain consistent, while shifts in timber tones, natural stone, flooring and colour give each kitchen its own distinct character.

One softer and warmer, layered with natural timber tones, creamy + pink veined stone and moody colour.

The other deeper and more tonal, pairing walnut timber with green + soft pink veined stone, muted olive and earthy accents.

Same footprint. Two distinctly different moods

Coolangatta project.

Custom tiled planter box bringing structure and texture into the landscape, softened with Australian native planting to tie the space back into its natural surroundings. @jasantbuilding

Clean detailing, natural tones and planting that will continue to improve as it establishes.

Bit of screen time for @jasantbuilding. So much sick hardwood work on this job. Learning a heap and loving every day on the tools

Coolangatta project taking shape with a strong focus on natural materials and Australian native planting.

Basalt stone stairs lead through the landscape, complemented by copper lighting that will naturally age and blend into the surrounding garden. The native planting will continue to establish and soften the stonework over time, creating a landscape that feels connected to its surroundings.

Happy to finally share the second home in Cabarita.

Our team had the pleasure of completing the final builders clean, including window cleaning, bringing every detail together for the final stage.

A beautiful finish to these two thoughtfully designed homes, now both ready for handover.

Thank you @jasantbuilding for trusting our team with another beautiful project.

Death, taxes, concrete’s gonna crack and timber’s gonna move. A few bow ties should help this beautiful spotted gum beam.

Learning lots about timber on this one. Cheers for the pointers @raven.woodcraft @jack_coates

INSIDE HARVEST // For the interiors of Harvest Moon, our clients selected a soft palette of natural materials, creating a light and breezy coastal feel that remains timeless and considered. Polished concrete floors ground the lower level, while warm oak parquetry brings texture and softness upstairs. A beautiful pale green stone benchtop adds a subtle layer of colour to the kitchen, complemented by stunning bamboo joinery throughout the home. In the bathrooms and laundry, softly textured tiles in muted tones of blue, grey and cream introduce another layer of colour and tactility, while maintaining the calm, cohesive palette.

Together, these materials create a relaxed, beachy character whilst offering the durability and longevity needed for everyday family life.

One of two homes we’ve had the pleasure of working on for @jasantbuilding, completing the final builders clean and window cleaning before handover.

A detailed clean, a comprehensive quality check, and a finish that allows the craftsmanship of the home to take centre stage.

MAXIMISING PRIVACY // On a compact yet exposed site, privacy at Harvest Moon became one of the key design considerations. Rather than relying on solid walls or reducing the home's connection to its surroundings, we introduced a series of vertical timber screens to create a softer threshold between the home and its neighbours.

The screens filter views while allowing natural light and breezes to pass through, ensuring the interiors remain bright, open and connected to the landscape. It's an approach we often use to balance privacy with openness — creating spaces that feel protected without ever feeling enclosed.

Behind every completed home is a team of skilled trades working towards the same goal.

We’re proud to have played our part in preparing this beautifully designed @lennoxpalmhouse for handover through our final builders clean, window cleaning, and sparkle clean.

A huge thank you to @jasantbuilding for another incredible project together.

We’ve been a little quiet over here lately… moving house, embracing family time, and taking a moment to slow down.
But beautiful spaces like this always pull me back.

Warm timber.
Soft stone.
Gentle curves.
Timeless design, always✨
