Scusi der Synthi, Goodbye Gitarre

There are bands you like, bands you can’t stand, and bands you love. Kadavar’s in that third category: the energy, the tightness, everything you need for a good time.
This summer at the Rocklette, up at Couvert du Goly, I set myself down right at Tiger’s feet, next to his drum kit. The sound was so heavy and precise I felt it move through me more than I heard it. Then I moved to each side of the « stage » to capture the band from a vantage point no crowd member ever gets. Same tightness, every time. Incredible, as always.

I love those moments before a show when you get to meet the people who make everything work once the band goes on. That travelling family that moves almost day by day on tour and repeats the same things tirelessly so that everything goes as smoothly as possible.
I had a great time with the @kadavargram Family: there were smiles, glances, and some really cool guys who signed my photo LP from when they played @palpfestival some time ago.

POLYTON RETROSPECT

POLYTON Preisträger:innen 2026 - ROCK

I Just Want to Be a Sound – Kadavar

Gütesiegel: PRODUCING & PLAYING

PRODUCING: Max Rieger, Zino Mikorey

PLAYING: Jascha Kreft, Lupus Lindemann, Max Rieger, Simon Bouteloup, Tiger Bartelt, Lisa Morgenstern
