Yéti PSA1
We did it!! We are officially titled in PSA!

Where do I start! This weekend was our third annual @frostbitewdc trial. I planned on trialing Saturday to hopefully leave with my first leg of PSA 1. We ended up with a more than satisfying score of 93.5 in OB and 202 in PR for a total of 295.5/320 and obtained our first leg with distinction.
We ended up showing Sunday and obtained our second leg with distinction as well and CLOSED OUR LEVEL ONE!!

I would like to start by thanking @sroberts1731 , our judge for his fair judging, great feedback but also for the great human he was on the field and outside the field.

Thank you also to the trial decoys. @aus_ave @blairlowe14 @decoy_jeremy @jamesdulm @jobsondylan @camdal4 and @upliftedalphabullies Without your work, we wouldn’t have the chance to compete in this sport. Thank you for all your safe catches and work.

A big big thank you to my main training decoy lizzie @valleytails . What we were able to achieve in protection is mostly because of your work and how you helped me build my dog. I can’t thank you.

I would also like to thank @amjad_mohb_ and @feral_5ive who also took part in yeti’s bitework training throughout the year by putting on the suit and work him on different things when i needed help.

Thank you to @notyourstandardschnauzers , @valleytails and @feral_5ive for the brainstorming and help during my sessions and during the trial. Thank you to all the club members helping every club in any ways they can @lumithemalinois (decoying) @jag0s @levi_and_rip @penniferus_rex @anna_kontrebuts_ and Sebastian.

I would also like to thank @aus_ave , @kanos_rayne and @valak_the_dutchie for your help, decoying, knowledge and welcomness (it’s not a word but it is today) every single time.

Thank you again to @jasdk9 and @badassdogtrainer for my little Yeti and support.

There are so many people to thank and that I am missing but know that I appreciate everyone’s help every single time.

ON TO THE 2s!!!!!

📸: @koolienamedkida I guess Yeti still had energy left in the tank the way he looks at @jobsondylan 🙄

Walnoot and I have been prepping for our PDC. We will be trialing soon! There are still a few things that need to be cleaned up, but I feel like we have been finding clarity in our sessions together lately. I am very happy with the progress we have made so far!🤩

This weekend we tried again for the second leg of our PSA1 and it almost went how we were hoping…until Demon had other ideas 😅

Even though we didn’t pass, I still left the trial very happy.

Demon and I have had quite a bit of conflict lately and I felt that our practice on the field lately hasn’t showcased how good I know that we can be

Even though Demon bit and we DQ’d, it finally felt like all of our hard work in obedience had paid off and I’m so thankful. He was quiet, engaged, and fast, and yep, definitely still spicy. Can’t wait to see his progress over the next few months of practice!

I wanted a dog who loved to bite, and that’s exactly what I got with this dog 😈🖤
