Cold @coldmusic

Almost 30 years in the making. Waiting nearly three decades to see Cold live, relegating it to the fact that I’d ever get the chance to see them — especially in the UK. Then it finally happened. Not only did I get to see them live, I actually got to meet them.

Cold’s music has meant so much to me over the years. First hearing 'everyone dies', th3n getting their debut album when it came out and playing it to death for years.

Their albums have been there through different chapters of my life — carrying emotions, memories, good times and difficult ones. 'A different kind of pain' is a masterpiece from start to finish. Some songs just hit in a way that words can’t explain, hearing them live after all these years was genuinely emotional. Scooter saying on stage that that song came out of his dispair of attempting suicide and when he walked to the beach, gun in hand, the song just came to him and saved him. So glad it did. Man, i just wanted to hug him at that point.

What an incredible night. Worth the wait and they might be baxk next year!
