Only 9% of Black women in the U.S hold a Masters Degree… I’m so happy to finally be apart of that percentage ❤️

Who would have known that the little girl who loved to write would go on to climbing the corporate ladder, leading and supervising teams, to now holding a Masters degree in Strategic Communications.

This degree took me way longer than I care to admit (starting, stoping, then starting again but hey, life happens) but I’m so glad I locked it and finally finished ❤️🤏🏾 … #masteredit #blackgrad

Yess…another wedding post. One can say I’m filled with so much joy. But Last month, I reaffirmed my vows and commitment to my best friend, @trendyschwendy at the @fitlerclub here in Philadelphia🥂✨
After marrying in a small ceremony last year, we wanted this second celebration to be a grand thank-you to our community. A way to express our gratitude for the endless support, love, and well wishes we’ve received over the past year and a half.

A massive thank you to the incredible vendor team who brought our vision to life:

* The team at @beloved_events_phl , who helped us create and plan so many deeply special moments throughout the day.

* The immensely talented @jasminehunter , who captured these beautiful photos and documented every single ounce of joy.

* The amazing @nikthetailor , who tailored our outfits to perfection and made us feel absolutely beautiful.

*The music that kept us dancing all night was kindly provided by @djjvmz

*Finally our delicious and beautiful cake was made by @newjunebakery

To our friends and siblings in the wedding party: thank you for your time, love, dedication, and energy. You helped make this celebration completely unforgettable.
And finally, to our parents. Thank you for loving us loudly and proudly from the moment we shared our dreams of marriage. In a climate where Black and queer rights face ongoing challenges, your fierce support and love mean everything to us. ✨🌈
