Circa 2016 Puna, Hawaii. Robert Trickey found us on Airbnb and offered a trade: a few nights in his house, and in return I would photograph it properly. It turned out to be Craig Steely's first built work, a glass and steel box sitting on the 1955 lava flow above the ocean.

ALSO! Happy Anniversary to our dear friends in Kona M+L. If you didn't know, Jasmine and I used to photograph weddings. Our favorite was M+L on a vintage coffee farm in Kona (now owned by a Celebrity). Friends for life and continue to collab with them today.

Happy anniversary, Jas. I can’t believe all the things we’ve done together—a lifetime of adventure, memories, challenges, and incredible joy. I’m so thankful for you every day—how selfless you are, how you find the best in everything and everyone. Your amazing skill as an artist, your deep love and talent as a mother, and most importantly, as my partner in life. It feels like we’ve already lived so many lifetimes together. The more we take on, the deeper we understand each other—sometimes it’s like we can read each other’s minds. Ha ha, scary, right? I’m grateful we’ve packed so much into these 12 years. I know it probably feels longer for you, but I still remember the first day I saw you at Cornerstone University. That’s when I count us beginning, haha. There was something different about you, not just how beautiful you are on the outside, but how beautiful you are inside. You never take things at face value, You look for the best in people. Thank you for being you. I pray we keep building loving memories the way we started. From small moments in coffee shops to studying abroad, Grabbing sushi, spontaneous surprises like our engagement, ha ha, traveling to different islands, and always betting on us—taking risks so we can live each day as a gift. @jasminewisz

Warm tones from La Croix Hotel. We love capturing spaces—can’t wait to peruse through more of these frames from our shoot in Waikiki last month. @trading_travel @chasingcreative.io @blakeonbrand

We are closing out our few weeks in Hawaii between Oahu and Kauai. Here is BTS of a mini impromptu founder shoot @jasminewisz did as we work to highlight what it means to raise a family, keep to our goals, and take advantage of opportunities to do life together. It’s a balance of finances, time management, and trade off costs. More to come. In the meantime, thanks to all the businesses who supported this trip as a client on island, restaurant or establishment who collaborated with us, and the friends we made along the way.
