At 51 Interiors, we have always loved animal print for the depth and attitude it brings to a space.

What makes it so enduring is its versatility. Used sparingly, it becomes a point of tension. Used boldly, it can define the entire mood of a room.

There is something uniquely effective about the way animal print introduces movement and visual texture. It adds another layer of interest, breaks up flatness and brings a sense of character that’s confident.

Subtle plaster finishes and hand-applied lime paint lend depth and serenity to this Brentwood home. In the dining area, our custom oak and stainless steel table sits encircled by @overgaard_dyrman chairs, illuminated by @jeremymaxwellwintrebert’s cloudlike fixtures above.

As featured in @galeriemagazine’s Late Fall 2025 Collectors Issue No. 42.

Timeless textures and rich hues come together to create a hallway that exudes warmth and sophistication. The @degournay wallpaper and wool-jute runner bring a refined, layered feel, while deep burgundy plaster walls add a bold statement. Tying it all together is the elegant fluted chandelier by Julie Neill for @visualcomfort, elevating the space with sculptural beauty and soft, ambient light.

Our Oak Park kitchen we designed for some of the sweetest people in the world 🤍
This kitchen got quite the transformation (swipe to see the before!) We had toyed with the idea of doing a rich green cabinetry color, but this kitchen really wanted to be a creamy white (Shaded White by @farrowandball which jumped to my top 10 fav colors ever after this project.) The custom stain we came up with on the oak island and breakfast table added so much warmth, along with the plaster hood by the very talented @jason_fletcher_studio 👏🏻 And it had to be as equally comfy as it is pretty, so we added the most comfortable dining chairs in a gorgeous caramel leather and walnut finish from @freifrau_manufaktur after my client had sat in these same chairs at a hotel and knew she had to have them in her kitchen.
I’ll be sharing more of some of the fun things we did with this kitchen and how we laid it out in the coming days, cuz let me tell you we tricked this thing out with so many crazy things :)))

A guest bath in our Los Feliz project, featured this month in @houseandgardenuk!
The wall had to be reinforced with heavy steel framing to support the weight of this massive trough we imported from Puglia, offset by an antique Gustavian chest and delicate glass pendants.
