What can I even say. This is my third Underwater Clown Rodeo and it gets more magical every year. I have to really give Alyssa props because to dream this magical event up and make it a reality that just keeps growing year after year is truly an amazing thing to behold. What a way to celebrate all the Leo’s out there and just provide a good time for everyone to have fun. The vibes this year were immaculate and I am still riding the high from last night. I’ll be eagerly awaiting my time to clown in the underwater rodeo again next year.

Happy Leo Season, and a wonderful Underwater Clown Rodeo to you all! 🦁

Another year older and so much to show for it. It’s easy to get caught up in the minutia of it all. Being so busy one second that you just want time to catch your breath, and then before you know it you’re lazing about wondering why you’re not doing more with your time. What I’ve found in my 37 years on this planet is that no matter what I’m doing I’ll always want to push myself a bit further. My life has had so many moments of profound meaning and serene beauty that make time stand still and linger a little longer. Those deep breathes of fresh air that wash over you and make you feel like your whole life has been leading to that moment and you belong to this place and time and always will. And just as quickly as it comes it slips away, receding into the annals of memory.

August is my favorite month of the year, and yes I may have some bias as a Leo, but I also love the solemn sadness of it. Summer is setting, the days start to feel noticeably shorter, the sun takes on a golden glow as it sets. The first color in the leaves starts to peak through, as autumn creeps into the air.

There is more summer ahead and I have much to look forward to still, but I wanted to take a moment and reflect on the last year and even more specifically the last month or so when these pictures were taken and express gratitude for making it another rotation around the sun. Happy Leo season and may 37 be another wonderful revolution through the cosmos.

Birthday shenanigans from the annual Camp Yammo cabin weekend. 🦋🐬☀️ Another year of hijacking the 4th (🚩) to observe the 7th (my bday 🏁) as an excuse to disconnect from the chaos of life to have nothing but fun and togetherness for a few days in the splendor of summertime in northern Michigan.

I love July~I love having wonderful and dear friends and how seriously we take our FUN (and our cooked meals during any homie gathering)~I love my thirties~I love Michigan~I love joymaxxing when & where we can because the horrors of the world may persist, but we persevere and make the most of this one precious life 🌾

Detroit Music Scene meet @abud_a_bard who I saw perform some super fun songs that got the whole crowd involved the other night @thelexbar celebrating @friendsofdacc for @e9artist birthday fundraiser that is in its successful second year of running. Please check out Abuds platform and go show him some love. 🩵🫶🏼🤍. He’s run a super successful and well loved open mic at Gatekeeper games for the last three years. It had its final show the other night as the store owner retired. If you are looking to get an open mic night going at your business and want a fab host, please reach out to him. 🩷🩷🩷
