🧙‍♀️ 🧹This is Winifred. She is practicing her magic 🌠 while I practice my drawing. Her 🦇Batcat🐈 familure is called Gypsy. 🎃 She is here to celebrate the end of harvest season, the beginning of winter, Halloween and Nos Calan Gaeaf. Wishing you all a safe winter, peace and blessings 🧡 x

Drawn with pencil, dip pen and brush pen (which leaked a bit, I think because I stored it upright instead of laying flat) then shaded with watered down ink.

Feels exceptionally creepy 👀 to be sharing this with you guys in this social media space after watching the fantastic (but nonetheless creeptastic) FOLLOWED.

It’s been called the “most important found footage film since Paranormal Activity” and it’s easy to see why fans and critics can’t stop thinking about it. Catch it streaming now!

Well done, @jasonsoudah! So pleased to see this one climb the Box Office charts!

It was so great speaking with composer @jasonsoudah for @nightmareonfilmstreet about his work on @followedhorrormovie 📹Found footage has a fascinating relationship with film scores and I loved getting his inside perspective. Check it out! LINK IN BIO!

“Can’t Hold Us Down” is a collaboration between Gabriel Pontón & Jason Soudah. The song was inspired by the TV series “Stranger Things”.

Gabriel & Jason: “We started by chatting on the phone and deciding which pitch suited us best - Stranger Things. We talked about concepts in the show, about friendship, working together on common goals, especially trying to find the truth when people are trying to keep it from you - as well as how this is a current topic of our times, and how we wanted the song to be empowering and yet still fun and tinged with 80s influence!!

Then we both went away and sketched initial ideas before fully fleshing them out. Then we decided Gabriel's idea felt better so he wrote lyrics and melody to that and expanded it, left the "bridge" a sketch, then gave me stems and I mixed it and added some more layers to his ideas, and wrote a vocal for the bridge and some harmonies for his chorus and the post-chorus we came up with on the phone.

Then he added ethereal guitar pads to the intro and also recorded vocal harmonies for the bridge and some adlibs, which I then comped and presented him the track and thankfully he was into the way I made it sound, and had some notes which I addressed until we got to our final submitted version. We both enjoyed the process so much we are going to continue working together! Thank you SCL, SongArts and SongDemic!”
