Four years of straight-out-of-camera storytelling. 26 countries. One theme: LOVE.

Meet some of the regional jurors behind SOOC Summer 2026. Every frame is judged blind, with no names, no handles, just the photograph.

Cycle 3 is live now and closes on September 10. Two days left to submit your best SOOC shots for a chance to win the Fujifriends Starter Kit.

📅 Cycle 3: 28 August – 10 September (ongoing)
📅 Cycle 4: 11 – 24 September

Presenting Episode 3 of Pod-X, the official @fujifilmme podcast, where photographers and filmmakers across the MENA and SWANA region share stories, insights, and the creative journeys behind their work. 🎙️

In this episode, Jassim Al-Muhanna (@jassimpix) sits down with award-winning director and editor Gregory Köfer (@gregorykoefer) for a conversation about the craft of filmmaking, the importance of lighting, and what it means to build a creative career from the ground up.

A Swiss-Spanish director based in Dubai, Gregory's work spans virtual production, story-driven commercials, and narrative filmmaking.

Every photograph begins with a story, not just the one inside the frame, but the one behind the person holding the camera.

In Stories Behind the Lens, Fujifilm Middle East Ambassador Maryam Abdulghaffar sits down with fellow Fujifilm creators from across the region to uncover the experiences, inspirations, and defining moments that have shaped their photographic journeys. Through candid conversations, the series explores the people behind the images, revealing how passion, purpose, and personal perspective come together to create meaningful work.

Maryam’s own journey began when she picked up her first camera at just nine years old. Since then, photography has remained a constant companion, leading her from documentary filmmaking opportunities in the United States to creative projects that have allowed her to tell authentic stories through her lens. Driven by curiosity and a desire to capture the true essence of people and places, she now turns the camera toward the creators who continue to inspire the region’s visual culture.

For our first episode ‘Light Chaser’, Maryam is joined by Jassim Al-Muhanna (@jassimpix) photographer, visual storyteller, Fujifilm Ambassador and Creator. Whose career spans portraiture, street, documentary, commercial, and black-and-white photography. For nearly two decades, Jassim has dedicated himself to preserving culture, documenting human stories, and mentoring the next generation of photographers. His work reminds us that photography is far more than making images, it’s about preserving emotion, memory, and history.

Join us as we go behind the images and discover the stories that shape the photographers shaping our region.
